A_womon, sorry, I've been MIA, but I did want to answer your question. And I started a new thread so you could find it (and I could keep up) a bit better.

I'm glad you enjoyed J.L.'s book and for the life of me, I can't remember what decision in the book I didn't like. (It must be that getting old thang). Let me think on it and come back to this okay? I've read about 10 books since then and sometimes it throws off my memory.

I didn't like the fact that he went back to his girlfriend. I didn't like her. I thought she was trifling and to use his "friend" to flirt with and make him jealous kinda ticked me off.

Yeah, yeah, I realize they're kids and are prone to do these types of things, but I was still annoyed by it.

What were your thoughts?

(and sorry, but I don't remember their names). ROFL. Told ya, age is catching up with me -- my birthday is next month and ummm...I do take gifts. Books will do. Need my address? <grin>

Maybe we should discuss this forgetful thing again as it's not just about books. I launched Internet Explorer to look for something, saw your reply, (Thumper's Corner is my home page) and now I've forgotten what I was searching for.

But, I did remember that you asked who his mother is. She writes under the name of Naleighna Kai and her books can be found at this link.

Or go to the publishing company site at: http://macropublishing.com/

I would love to discuss this book with anyone. I read it last month. I can't say its fresh in my mind but with a little spurring it will come back to me.

I was especially impressed with the age and how well written the author is/was at the time of the writing.

LOL Tee, this is my home page too, wonder who I got the idea from?

Tee,

I guess I could understand Cameron's girlfriends motives in trying to make him jealous. She was feeling neglected and as though Cameron may have been looking at someone else. And like you said, they were both young 16 and 17 I think, so dumb moves are to be expected. But overall I thought they both were very mature for thier ages and made very good life choices, especially the one about deciding to hold off on having sex until they were done with college.

Sharon, luckily that's not a "bad" idea/habit you got from me. LOL. You could have this book addiction thing that's taking over space in my house. (Though I have no problem with it).

I too agree with your comments on how well written it was for someone so young.

A_womon (girl, why'd you spell your username like that? It's so hard to type it vs woman), I see your points and fully agree with them. I just have an issue with the whole "trifling women" thing, even if it is a teenager. It's a personal pet peeve of mine.
