See girl! I told you I got ya back like a car seat!!
My radio interview will be aired again TOMORROW, August 13, 2004 at 1:00pm (EST) ~ 10:00am for us Cali folks!
Again, this interview can be heard from anywhere in the world via www.artistfirst.com and clicking on the "listen live" link on the left. Simple! For 1 hour I will talk about my debut novel, The Last Bad Decision, discussing the reason behind its creation, and reading Chapter 1 as entertainingly as possible.
Here's a recap:
Okay, okay, so I've been told that I say, "You know," too much from some of those that heard the interview the first time. All I gotta say is, "That's just how I talk, you know?" I can't help it. I was also told that I spoke too low, said, "Basically," more than I should have, and sounded very, very nervous. Guess what! Basically, I WAS nervous! And when I'm nervous I talk low. How about that?
Basically, I gave props to Thumper from AALBC. Lord knows I didn't mean to, it just happened that way. A-Woman, you know what I'm talking about. Tarshish, girl, I also referenced you and your beautiful home. R.B. Jones, I know I haven't spoken to you in a while, but dude, I gave you MAD props! You were truly the best Mayor East Palo Alto has ever seen! That's on everything! Thanks again for the interview. And, Ken Nowling, if you're out there...like I said in the interview, I'm still waiting on that phone call!!!
