Speaking of YGG novels. I went to the library today and Leaving Cecil Street Diane McKinney Whetstone and Harlem Redux- Persia Walker have the exact same picture on the cover. Does This prove they all are the same. Why even bother with an orginal jacket.

Klb, I'm with you on this one, that is so very annoying. You would think that research would be done to ensure that a title doesn't already exist with the same cover. I know the same issue has come up quite recently with several books: A Woman's Worth, A Perfect Blend, and one of E. Lynn Harris' upcoming books. Luckily, those were caught before production.

Hey All,

I gots to chime in - I am reading Leaving Cecil Street for a review and I DO NOT like the cover. Her earlier works -- ie dust jackets were so much better - I understand Motley's importance but jeez louise -- I don't think it matches the storyline or time period.

Peace

All:

Somebody is going to get to ride somebody else's coattails--or maybe somebody will unjustly get panned (folks thinking they are the same book)
