He seems to have this predilection for veering disastrously off script--like with the Nancy Reagan crack.

He should start using a teleprompter.

I am hoping that some flashes of wit will start to enliven Obama's personality.
He did refer to himself as a "mutt" when discussing the kind of dog being considered for his daughters.

Mrs Lincoln was the one who held seances in the white house, not Nancy Reagan. So in addition to slamming Nancy, Obama's dig was not on point. He, indeed, should've apologized to her.

And while he's at it, he should summon up the ghost of Mary Lincoln and ask for some tips on how to communicate with ol Abe.

Barring that she's the queen of the conservative movement in a sense, and that her Say No to Drugs campaign was sort of helpful to some young folks back when, I don't remember much about Nancy Reagan. The séance thing flew over my head just as much of who N. Reagan even is. So no biggie imo.

(No. That heathen Nancy just consulted an astrology everytime Ronniebaby had to go to the bathroom)

(Of course you don't listen to the Rush Limbaugh show)
