In All Honesty * * *
Well, the polish is finally beginning to peel off of the once-glistening McCain-Palin phasod. Even non-conservative white America is starting to show extreme angst at the obvious obliviousness of conservative white America (CWA) and its “blind” embracement of a highly illogical and un-vetted McCain-Palin union. This union is a lie of unimaginable proportions whose true colors will soon be apparent. Even Hillary Clinton is smarting at the “cheapness” of the Palin pick, sharpening her swords to protect her 18 million-plus loyal followers.
Just what is conservative white America REALLY thinking…?
Is it so enamored with Sarah Palin and her conservative mantle that it’s willing to throw away its very future for a hard right turn into global irrelevance?
Perhaps it’s tickled to death that finally there’s a plausible reason (however invalid, unjustified or unwise) to vote against a (U.S.-born) non-white candidate of superior credentials and capability in favor of a (Panamanian-born) white candidate who has no viable ideas of his own and who can only resort to hijacking the message of others to promote his own hollow agenda.
Maybe its angry that the face of the United States is rapidly changing, and that groups other than itself have finally figured out a way to level the playing field so that all citizens can have their shot at the American dream.
For that matter, it just might be fearful of admitting that its allegiance and gullibility to the Conservative Right Wing is taking center stage, exposing its own ignorance of a global landscape that it no longer dominates or controls.
Or, it just doesn’t give a damn about “the” issues that matter and feels that it can easily persuade the rest of the world that it’s own ideals are simply more important than those of everyone else who isn’t living in the land of Mayberry R.F.D. and Gumby. Unfortunately for the conservative white woman (but fortunately for the rest of us), no country on this Earth will ever take Sarah Palin seriously; for in their minds, she’s simply a tool of Karl Rove’s creative imagination.

What is quite noticeable is that the CWA crowd appears to have a growing knack for increasingly attracting intellectual midgets and non-scholastic pinheads that have absolutely no idea of what’s at stake in the November 2008 election. Worse than the lunch pail pick-up truck crowd, these folks actually believe that the Pilgrims were here first and that the Indians arrived on ships.
For these kinds of folks, a weekend getaway is a family trip to an overcrowded regional camping ground. You know, the kind of place where smelly beet-red patrons with scaly, spotted, cottage cheese-like (hairy-fuzz covered) skin fry in the Sun, drink beer, vomit in the bushes and wake up on the polluted beach of a stagnant lake that’s got more than it’s allotted share of high fecal matter readings. It’s the kind of crowd that handles your Ballpark Franks with their bare fingers after just exiting a Port-A-Potty that has no running water, and digs in their nose while returning to the helm of a barbeque that hasn’t been cleaned in two years.
Going a bit further, the (conservative and liberal) mainstream media is beginning to paint white “hockey mom” women as highly emotional, unfocused, easy-to-manipulate and politically un-savvy damsels whose only meaningful role in society is to produce snotty disrespectful children who are more intolerant of others that even they themselves are. The kind of kids that call their own mom a b*tch and a wh*re and then sit on the couch while she servers them Jiffy Pop.
The truth is, the male-dominated (Bush Term 3) conservative Republican contingent is making an absolute mockery of the intellect and dignity of hard-working conservative white American women who hail from all walks of life. It currently appears that these (Good Ol’ Boy) men have succeeded in duping this female segment to the point where they (i.e., these women) really appear to have become incapable of seeing the forest for the trees.
God forbid, should John McCain ever be elected under this pathetic and obviously ill-advised ruse, then the rest of America and the sane world included won’t want to be hearing the whining and crying that is sure to follow when John nukes an Arab nation (and the wrong one at that), gets bogged down in a huge Washington-insider scandal that involves his wife’s beer fortune, and with a Cheshire grin, is heard over a live mike referring to the voters that elected him - “those suckers actually bought it!” |
