On top of that lousy ass speech Barry gave last night this is a double whammy.

If I was McCain I'd have announced it yesterday morning and peed all over his parade.

I wouldn't want to be around Hillary today.

Not hardly,

once the surprise wears off sensible people will understand that mccain is only grasping at straws and may have cut his own throat with the selection. Desperate to win over women who are miffed at losing Hillary and anxious to one up Obama, your boy may have just sealed the white house for OBAMA!

His VP is being investigated on an ethics violation involving the husband of her younger sister. More republican scandal revealing that they care little for being on the legal and ethical side of the law. This will hark back to everything the public despises about the bush administration.

Plus all this talk about Barack's inexperience and the fact that the Republicans do not think he is ready for the presidency, he picks a woman who had less way less time in than Barack and abolutely NO experience on foreign policy. And this is who he thinks can step in and lead the country if he drops dead? PLEASE! A Hillary clinton SHE'S NOT!

GO OBAMA! YEAHHHHHHHHHH!

She was once the runner up to Miss Alaska in the Miss America beauty contest and she is anti-choice; does she sound like someone who will inherit Hillary's following??

Of course chrishayden is ecstatic at the possibility of her being vice president of the country because he loves to have white women do his thinking for him.

BTW, chrishayden, your idol, Peggy Noonan, thought Obama's speech did him proud.

If Obama loses, the loss can be placed squarely at the feet of white folks and negroes like you who can't accept the idea of an uppity black man being president.

(Wrong. The loss can be placed square on his big square head. He should be beating McCain hands down but he's such a sorry candidate he's letting it slip through his fingers.

Uppity? If he was kissing any more booty he would have to have them permanently set his spine at a 60 degree angle.

Black.

That's it. If Obama was a white man and everything else was the same he would be 30 points ahead and it would be over.

C'est la vie.)

Your view of things is very skewed, chrishayden. You have yet to be specific about what it is that you think Obama is doing wrong. Your petty pot shots just don't make the grade.
In his acceptance speeach, everybody agrees that Obama went on the offensive and effectively turned all of McCain's criticism around so that it would apply to McCain, himself.
McCain makes gaffe after gaffe and you continue to focus on what you think Obama is doing wrong. You have placed yourself in the same category as negroes like Thomas Sowell and Shelby Steele, both of whom you supposedly don't like.

You have yet to be specific about what it is that you think Obama is doing wrong

(How much more specific can I get? Four day convention. Allowing the fatcats to have separate soirees (for $100,000 and up donors and lobbyists). Allowing the Clintons to punk him. Choosing Joe Biden as his running mate. That stupid set.

Dr. King, by the way, had 200,000 people at his speech and he wasn't running for President.

Ah, the speech. All speeches are noted for some slogan that sticks with the crowd. What. "Ask not what your country can do for you?" "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself?" "It's morning in America?"

What was the slogan?

Obama, Obama. You ain't ready.

It will be merciful if you lose.

Puleeze. All you mentioned were your vacuous views, chrishayden which, as we know, are totally cock-eyed and influenced by your inability to see past your nose and or give credit where credit is due because you think you are the final word on everything and everybody. Why I don't know, inasmuch as your track record sucks where this race is concerned. None of your silly predictions have come true. Once again you have successfully defended your title by taking first place in the "sound and fury of an idiot saying nothing" contest.

What was the slogan?

"We can't turn back"

It's all over various news media outlets. Some consider it the title of the speech itself. That was my guess, and when I googled it, sure enough...434,000 entries.
