If you look at the trailer at the end of the film review, you will see a video which shows a model not just being air brushed...

Her features were actually being modified. Her neck was lengthened, her face was narrowed. it was really fascinating.

I used to have a girl friend who was a model. She'd been on the cover of a few magazines one was called Black Hair (or something alnong those lines). She wore a wig and hair pieces in the photo shoot. At the time I thought that was just wrong. You are selling hair care products, and maintaining healthy hair while using models wearing wigs.

I felt like the magazine was simply dupping the public. In hindsight that was nothing compared to what is going on now and women are even more effected that ever before.

Of course guys are now beginning to fall for this hype too.

(Where have YOU been. Back in the 60's a gal I knew was a JET Magazine centerfold pinup. She looked so good, and had so much pulchritude I almost didn't know who she was. That's when I swore off photos of models, movie stars etc.

They are all faked. They have been faked forever.

It is an unreal image you are falling for, not a real person. But, now you got people looking for this in a person.

It is just another sign of the 2pacalypse.

Chris what I meant by "Of course guys are now beginning to fall for this hype too. is that guys are now sending 3 for hours at the beauty salon. They are getting their eyebrows arched, bodies waxed, nd wearing make up.

Pretty soon the models in magazines will be completed computer generated...

Then women will really lose their minds trying to keep up.

Has anyone ever stopped to think that many, already attractive celebrities resort to surgery to alter their appearance and how crazy that is?

In the film America the Beautiful some model said, in essense, that if a women does not want to be part of this whole mess, then she should go to college.
