the more that i think about it, barack obama may have a real chance to win the presidency of the united states.
john mccain has YET to release his medical records, and (to be honest) really looks SICK. there is a clear GROWTH on his face (maybe cancer).
when madame hillary finally bows out, and we have just obama and mcain running for president, there will be a CLEAR marker between the YOUNG (under 50) obama, and the VERY OLD looking and sounding john mccain.
even though i KNOW barack obama is NOT our people, and his ancestors endured NONE of the HORRORS our people went through, i still will vote for him in november.
barack obama is just seen as a n*gger anyway, so what the hell. but, if the truth be told, many wealthy white people are supporting obama.
and i also think (ive seen the evidence) that many young (under 35) people (many white, as well, as black) are supporting obama.
i work in one of the wealthiest white towns in america, and i see a HUGE amount of support for obama.
in the next few months, we will see a young articulate 40 somthing "new face", matched up against an 70 something (no disrespect to seniors)george bush CLONE (as far as policy goes).
at first i could not (maybe would not) believe it, but now as we get closer to election time, obama just might win.
even white people are tired of the "same old thing" (bush, mccain etc).
change just might be coming. |

Hold up lil'Abner, some of what you say is true....and I'll emphasis "some". Wait.....before you start smiling like I am riding with you...he's the deal. I can't debate where you work or who may or may not also live there...Mccain is old and looks like a pale goat....and I don't know what you saw on his face....but ahhhh....oh, white people are tired ....but the rest of your stated and implied characterizations may be in need of a little repair.....to many vague absolutes. Don't get me wrong....I am an Obama kind of guy....but your spill plays into the hands of those that do not have his best interest at heart. I am not going to go "there" but instead I'll ask you to look at your thang and decide for yourself what you might like to cleanup.
BTW, I hate politics....for the most part....people are going to do what they do based on greed and race. I'll even soften that a little and say social change and all that mess falls short of the goals of many....and although greed may not be the impetus, you can bet your bottom dollar "me" is at the forefront. If history can be used as a guide or reference, I think Janet Jackson said it best when she said "what have you done for "me"....LATELY! Money don't have to have no color on it and white is not a primary color.

I'm not trying be mean or petty or anything but he looks nasty, John McCain, nasty AND TRIFLIN as all get-out; and some of it he cannot blame on being older. (1) Why is his teeth yellow? (2) Hasn't he heard of whitening products, what is he, out-of-touch? (3) Why walk around like a yuck-mouth when you already old as f*ck.

Two dilapidated corps. They look like tales from the crypt. What made him think it was a good idea to put TWO old people in one (countering "oldness") ad. You know, in a funny way, having too many old people together is sorta like having too many Black people together in one crowd. ...It scares some people, albeit for different reasons. |

If looks were a deciding factor in who got my vote I'd cast my lot for Beonce and Halle  . But I am with you on this one....I do want someone that's not going to fall asleep on the job. He doesn't appear to be in the best of health. I am sure that he could pull out his doctors slip and try to show us how ready he is but just look at the pour chap. I once saw an old rusty white man on TV selling face cream.....now I said to myself...what kind of fool would buy any face products from that wrinkled mess. I ain't going to go their with you about the other old folks ....cause......that ain't right *lol*....but I feel you.

If you noticed, I didn't play into anything. I questioned the post and not the name. I don't care if it is Mickey Mouse, the substance of the post was so disheartening that I simply said I didn't care to go "there". I have nothing against Moonsigns or Moonshine, I just simply like to debate and have a little fun. I think you have noticed over the years that I try to stay on the side of the issue and that can be somewhat hard on "friendships". However, I have witnessed over the years that confident individuals.......individuals that are trying to grow financially or personally love opposing views......in fact they hunger for it.
