Kola Boof by way of her clones continues to perpetuate the idea that without her scyntillating presence, this board has become a dud. She also blames me and my caustic comments for the departure of ABM and other regulars whom she declines to name. This is the world according to Kola.
In Cynique's world, I do fancy myself an iconoclastic polemicist (translated: b i t c h) because in the twilight of my years, I've endeavored to reject superficiality and to see both side of a question. To me, people insulated in their views can benefit from developing a new set of eyes. And to their credit, those who have remained here take on the challenge. They argue with me and give as good as they get in making their rebuttals to what I am spouting about. I don't think I diminsh them. I think I make them stronger. I salute these stalwarts
As for ABM, he took a "vow of silence". If he hadn't felt the need to do this, he couldn't defended himself against my oblique attacks. But, nooo, much to the dismay of his fans, he withered away. But look who we still have left! Chrishayden and Nels and Lil-Z to provide conflict, NTFS to supply the voice of reason, Dobes and Shakspir to provide wry humor and pungent observations, and guys like Emanuel and Rondall and Hen10 to keep us abreast of the literary scene. And most of all, we have our fearless leader and poster-at-large, Troy Johnson.
Kola is gone - in name only, but I wouldn't exchange her vain volatility for the insightful intelligence and feistness and wit of gals like Yvettep, Robynmarie, Urban Scribe, Ferocious Kitty, Tonya, a-womon, Li-Li, Jackie, Crystal, Moonsigns, and Sese. Puleeze.
I have on any number of occasion suggested that Kola start posting again since she thinks she is such an irreplacable asset to this board, and that I am jealous of her.  . I've been waiting for her fans to demand her return. But I guess they just e-mail their displeasure to her.
I also noted that I have branched out into frequenting the game sites, channelling my aggression into playing "Spades" and "Hearts" with cut-throats. Which is to say that it is not my intent to dominate or monopolize Thumper's Corner by being a constant presence here. And, yes, I do admit that the Internet has become my virtual reality. But this is by choice. I'm old and lazy and a tad jaded, and when it comes to the real world, I've been there, and done that. And so it goes.  |

This is yet another blatant example of your
delusions and lies.
I assume that you are claiming that I am
Kola once more?
What is your obsession with Kola Boof?
You're so rattled that you got up the next
morning and had to start a whole thread
about this woman and you assign my personal
comments to Ms. Boof.
Again, here is an example of the ways in
which you consistently lie on this woman:

It's my recollection that a well established poster named Beauty124 started a thread making that claim.
She also blames me and my caustic comments for the departure of ABM and other regulars whom she declines to name. This is the world according to Kola.
Ms. Boof has made no such statement.
Those statements have been made by said posters to a wide range of people who email Ms. Boof and
ask her to return or comment on the situation
at the board. It is them who say your previous
wittiness and substance has eroded and that the
board is now 'dead'. That is not Ms. Boof's
position nor does she have one. For all Kola
knows, things are going swimmingly.
I submit again that this constant rant about
Ms. Boof, these constant attacks where you accuse any and everyone of being Ms. Boof are delusions and lies.
In this six years that Kola was here, you always hated and villified her, so you might imagine that you're the last person she thinks about or brings up when discussing this board.
She is not obsessed with you in the way that you are obsessed (and dare I say HAUNTED) by her.
It's you, actually, who keeps her presence alive
here.
Which shows that Kola is a very powerful person. You aren't.
Do us all a favor and get over her.

Her obsession is that we're all secretly
Kola Boof.
Even Nom_de-Plume made a crack about it the
other day.
Cynique's nuts and your right. She's the one
who keeps Kola a presence here. If Cynique
didn't drag Kola's name out to take a piss
once a week, nobody would talk about sister
girl.
