It won't be over, of course but we will have a pretty good idea who is going to still be in it come Spring.
We may be headed to two brokered conventions if clear front runners don't break out the pack.
I think on the Republican side it will be Huckabee and Romney, but so close that nobody will be able to say they landed the knock out blow. Giuliani might still come back when some of the big states have their primaries later.
On the Democratic side I think it will be Obama, Edwards, Clinton (though if the Gant rule holds it will be Edwards Clinton Obama) but the difference will be razor thin.
If Clinton does come out third look for her organization to destroy the other two... |
