Special Offer for Book Clubs!
If 5 of us (me plus 5 more) attend The Antigua & Barbuda International Literary Festival we get the opportunity to have a private dinner, with an author, at an upscale Antiguan Restaurant. Authors we can choose from include Junot Diaz, Eric Jerome Dickey, Tina McElroy Ansa and others.
The 3 day festival takes place on November 7-9th 2008 at the Jolly Beach Resort in Antigua, West Indies.
The price for the ALL INCLUSIVE resort and literary festival is only $805!

Rondall: The flights are ridiculous. Try Travelocity. A lot seems to depend on where you are flying from. From Pittsburgh, it's ridiculous. From Baltimore (near where my boyfriend lives), it's almost half the cost, with fewer stops. The lowest I've seen is $649 roundtrip. |

Let me check with the organizers they are working with a travel agent and may be able to help with the flights -- maybe.
Keep in mind the resort is all inclusive food drinks, etc -- so even with the air fare prices quoted, so far, it is a good deal
I'll post any new information I get here as soon as I get it. |
