Karibu Books was the nation's largest black-owned chain of bookstores, specializing in African-American oriented literature. But after 15 years in operation, the CEO decided to pull the plug on Karibu, to the surprise of many. Simba Sana says his own spiritual growth aided in his decision to close shop.

You're welcome, Connie and Zane. You know, I got the sense that there was still a lot going on that did not get shared. Perhaps the history of the bookstore would make a good book itself? LOL |
