This might sound like hyperbole but I'm considering offering authors 1 million views (minimum) of their book on my family of websites which includes mosaicbooks.com, AALBC.com, thebacklist.net, thumperscorner.com, etc for 1 full year.
I’m thinking of a monthly price of $200 to $300 per month. I would provide quarterly reports showing stats.
The goal is to provide a tremendous offer to authors and address a number of common problems they encounter;
1 – Cost this is far and away the best bargain I’ve ever offered or, for that matter, the best offer I’ve ever seen. Plus I'll make payments due in monthly installments instead of one big up front payment. There may need to be a minimum commitment to make this work from my end. I’d also offer a discount for payments many up front.
2 – Multiple Websites, that target readers and are very popular. Why deal with paying multiple web sites when you can get your ad placed one several sites for one fantastic price. The is even less expensive than a Google adwords campaign on the same sites (assuming I made that much of my ad inventory available to Google).
3 – Long Term Campaign The biggest problem with most ad campaigns is that they are too short. One month is better than no advertising, for sure, but 1 million views for a full year will ensure that your book is seen by more readers than any other method for a similar cost.
4 – A tremendous number of views. In reality most sites don’t get very much traffic perhaps delivering a few hundred, perhaps a couple thousand views of your book a month – and you’d be lucky if you received a report of how many views you actually got. I’m offering 80,000 to 100,000 monthly views of your book per month.
This would include homepage placement on all sites. It would include run of site configuration where book would appear on many other AALBC.com web pages.
