Race?
Global Warming?
Peak Oil?

None of the above.

It will be America's struggle to remain #1.

Fasten your seat belts. It ain't going to be no croquet match with handshakes all around when it's over and "jolly good" to the losers.

Gender will be the No. 1 social issue, especially within the Black community, with class coming in at a very close second and race coming in at third.

The environment, specifically the inclement weather will be a growing factor in the future survival of this country. It's not actually an issue because it's a natural force over which we have little control. And, as such, it is a pervading danger because its escalating intensity has the potential to wreak havoc which, in turn, jeopardizes the infra-structures of our cities, the collapse of which will contribute to the looming possibility of this country imploding in chaos.

It's possible that technology will begin to get the better of us. I am thinking something akin to what was going down in the Terminator and Matrix movies.

I vacillate on the question of whether or how long America remains the world's topdawg. Indeed, there are LOTS of reasons to fear what will come of this nation. Still, America and Americans remain the most liberated and freethinking nation and people. And one FREE mind can be worth +1,000 minds that are not.

The shifting balance of power across with the globe will be the great issue of the 21st century.

The growth of the next great super powers in China, India, and the resurrection of Russia, will drive global the global economies.

The vast majority of the people, of all colors, in the United States are in for a rude awakening because we are ill prepared for the coming changes.

We are getting upset over a few Mexican’s picking oranges or mowing lawns – y’all ain’t seen nothing yet...
