What a lovable folksy charismatic guy, that Huckabee. …and a compassionate sorta fella, I must say. http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/269696.aspx
Why, he’s the one republican front-runner who attended the Blk debate AND spoke out against his colleagues for not attending, the loudest. And he had enough compassion to REWARD "illegal immigrant" children with well deserved scholarships for college. And his position on education? Priceless. He believes in "personalizing" education so that children from different races and cultures can finally learn about ppl like themselves. (Black history anybody?) Boy, if that’s not compassionate conservatism, I don’t know what is. And, if he is not the one to provide hope to our children, then, tell me, who is….?

This Christian Leader is caring, compassionate and as American as apple pie.

His only problem tho…is he’ll have to win an election against Barack Hussien Obama. Bummer.

Yup, the one thing you gotta say about them damn Republicans: They think.

(I thought you was down with Ms Rodham.

Romney/Huckabee sounds like a winner, though I hate that fakeass Mormon.

Just think--Half a dozen first ladies. Pregnant 14 year olds in the Oval Office.

You and especially she will wish you had never been born.

I'd vote for her if she wasn't wearing that slimy polecat Bill around her neck.

I will never forgive him for raping Sista Souljah.

Sistah Souljah…another poster girl for strength, beauty and intelligence. Like wonder woman, she's my hero as well.

But now's not the time to get emotional. How 'bout we get a Democrat in the White House first, then we can whine complain and sooth our emotions when it's all said and done.

We can ALWAYS get back at Bill Clinton, we're Black Bloggers. And what better way to rip Bill a new asshole than taking shots at him and his role as FIRST FIRST Gentleman of the WHITE HOUSE??

By many accounts, he was that even when he was supposedly Commander-in-Chief. I always chuckled whenever I heard someone say, "President Clinton and her husband, Bill."

All of the Clinton-haters on this board seem to forget that ol Bill was elected and re-elected several more times as governor of Arkansas, a state where this office is a 2-year term, and of course he was re-elected president of the United States and still remains immensely popular, so it appears these chronic pouters belong to a grumbling minority who are obsessed with the kind of past slights that blemish the record of all prominent men. Very few politicians have sterling scruples.

And the traits people hate in Hillary are the same ones they admire in a man. The black women who reject Obama because they don't trust black men have their counterparts in black wimps who are intimidated by a ruthlessly ambitious woman. Hillary's other detractors seem to be offended because she forgave her philandering husband and, naturally, these vindictive females come from the ranks of Christians who piously preach redemption.

The Democratic race is just crying for a candidate who will embody the best of Barak and Hillary. To me, neither one of them is impressive enough to stand on their own. I keep gazing toward the horizon hoping to see a bold and competent figure emerging, hand raised, eyes clear, voice strong as he declares with credible conviction that: "I've come to rescue America." In the meantime, wake me when it's over.
