Last night A&E suspended production on their popular reality show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," after Dog, the show's star, allegedly unleashed a tirade of racist comments about his son's African-American girlfriend, in two recorded phone calls, which the National Enquirer subsequently posted on its web site. "A&E has just learned of the story released by the National Enquirer concerning Duane Dog Chapman," read a statement from A&E. "We take this matter very seriously. Pending an investigation, we have suspended production on the series. When the inquiry is concluded, we will take appropriate action."
Last night, Dog put out his own apologetic statement, according to the Associated Press.
"I did not mean to add yet another slap in the face to an entire race of people who have brought so many gifts to this world," he said, according to the AP. "I am ashamed of myself and I pledge to do whatever I can to repair this damage I have caused."
Where will Dog turn when it comes time for his inevitable self restoration project? Our guess: Glenn Beck's show on CNN Headline News. Over the past year or so, Mr. Beck has made Dog a recurring guest, and has developed a particularly good on-air rapport with the God-fearing, advice-spewing, bounty hunter. In the meantime, we left a message with Dog’s people, seeking further comment. We’ll let you know if we hear anything.

you can look at him and tell that he would drop n-bombs out of his mouth like it's nothing. is any really surprised by this, i could be wrong but i would guess that 87.3 white americans refer to black people as nigguz. |

It may be higher than that. However, IMO it's just a case of sticks and stones. Reminder, if a non-black person calls you the N-word, then one of the skickest ways to make them crawl into a hole is to reply "I'll never be half the n.i.g.g.e.r that your mama was". Works every time.

I'm currently in Ohio. I had to come back to take care of some family business. Just enjoying the overcast, cool and blustery Midwestern weather. I have my lap top but I can't connect to an open neighborhood WiFi and there aren't any coffee shops with open WiFi around here either. So I have to go to the local university or library to access the internet. I'll try to post as I can.
