My apologies--I have been lax lately on my jazz postings! I have never been able to get into the "avant garde" movements, so could never fully appreciate Sun Ra. But I do love his story!

Su Ra's bio is interesting. He took the art of re-inventing one's self to a whole new level. Like a guilty person on death row, after a while he apparently started to believe his own lies. Either that - or he really was an extra-terrestrial. I know I am. heh-heh.
