While watching the BETJ's (pretty decent) talkshow My Two Cents, I observed actor Malik Yoba (bald brotha of New York Undercover & Cool Runnings fame) recount how +10 years ago Bill Cosby (and some another, unnamed famous Black man) hit on a woman Yoba had been dating. And Cos did this right in front of Yoba’s face even though he KNEW she was Malik’s girl.
Because Yoba had been a great admirer of Cosby, he seemed genuinely bothered by what happened.
So not only was/is Cosby apparently a pune hound, dude would/will even attempt to big-time (or show-up) another brotha to get at it.
Yoba also said that if Cosby publicly fessed up to his own problems with women, his recent speeches about Personal Responsibility would resonate more with those with those to whom he (presumeably) is attempting to reach. Simply, his appearing more human might connect more with others who, thus far, are less industrious and resourceful than he.
But another guest on Cents (a female comedienne whose name alludes me) astutely noted that perhaps Cosby does not mention his own problems because he’s never chosen to REMEDY them (and his more recent problems with some Canadian woman would suggests as much).

Jim Brown or Richard Pryor said that one time Cos sent them a call girl. They were insulted, wondering why he would send them a call girl.

I have been a dog at times. Some of my best friends are dogs. I think if you do, you don't need to be getting up on your high horse and telling anybody anything about fatherhood and sexual responsibility.
I am starting to feel sorry for the guy. He has to be out of his mind with grief and guilt and not even thinking right to be doing this.
I wonder if Camille or his children have tried to ake him aside and tell him to chill while he still got some rep left. |

Yeah. I can't front like I ain't done some dawg-type sh*t myself (RUFF!!! RUFF!!!). That's not the issue. The issue is Cosby's such a fuhkin' HYPOCRITE about how he conducts himself.
My bet is Camille and their kids have LONG since accepted and resigned themselves with living in the guilded prison Cosby has erected around them. |
