How do you think it "went down"?

That is a good question:

I start out with another

They were two people of substance--she had a mink coat and a jag, he was Bill Cosby's son and driving a mercedes--who were, I assume streetwise--she lived in L.A., he lived in NYC

It was 1 o'clock in the morning

Why didn't they call a tow truck?

I'll give you a few minutes to kick it around.

OK, time's up.

Why didn't they call a tow truck?

1) Maybe Ennis was a stubborn, independent kinda fella and cheap and he was't gonna call no truck or let her do it cuz he was a man and all he needed was for her to come out and give him a little light from her headlights.

(Fellas, would you call a woman--who you had known only a few days--to come out at 1 am to help you with a flat? Girls, would you go out at 1 am to help a man with a flat

And by the way, since this was Bill Cosby's son wouldn't a call to the Highway Patrol or cops have occurred to anybody?)

2) Maybe he wasn't supposed to be out driving that car and he didn't want to do anything that would leave a record that he had been out there--and maybe she didn't want to do it either.

3) Maybe there was no towing outfit anywhere near or no 24 hour towing in LA county.

4) Maybe he ain't had no flat

What's your point, chrishayden? Pardon me if I fast-forward and worry about the death of young men being shot down in Iraq.
Your obsession with "all-things-Cosby" is really bizarre.

Chris, you'll have to spell out your points a little more. Are you suggesting that he was involved in a drug transaction? Out trolling for sex? On a secret mission for the FBI? In the process of carrying out a hit for the mob? What???

I've heard it alluded to more than once that the Ennis Cosby murder was a drug deal gone bad. One of his sisters being a recovering addict, in and out of rehab, is usually also mentioned in conjunction with his murder. But because they're the Cos's kids and the Cos is "America's Dad" these incidents are either "dressed up" or downplayed.

This reminds me of the talk of drug dealers in the murder of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. I guess absent of factual information, then anything (and everything) is possible.

Wonder why the Cosby kids couldn't afford to pay a courier to bring the drugs to them???

(Not only is that more money out of your pocket, but that is a person who can rat on you if they get caught)

A story

Back in the late 70's I had a relative who was a criminal. Well, he had a business but he pimped, dealt in stolen credit cards and sold dope on the side.

He came to me once and told me that I should get into the business. I wouldn't have to sell no dope, meet nobody. All I had to do was give him 2 or 3 grand to buy a few extra ounces when he made his pick up, he'd sell them and give me the profits.

Right. I knew even if it went down like he said (which if it didn't what the hell was I gonna do? Sue? Kill him?) if he got caught he was gonna give me up and I took a pass.

There is no loyalty in the drug world.

You guys are getting way ahead of me.

You are good little detectives.

You probably could do some scripts for CSI.

If it was a robbery gone bad

Why wasn't he robbed?

(This is what I am meditating on.

It is entirely possible that everything happened just like they said--the only living witness for what he was doing was that woman

By the way, if he was going to go "home" (he was on vacation, so he couldn't go home--where was he staying)and fix a steak and THEN go over her house why didn't he--go home that is?

Where was he coming from when he had the flat?

Lots of questions here

And I am cautious because the Cos plays rough

(Doesn't he look high in that picture?

And he smoked cigarettes. Young people who smoke usually don't just smoke--they drink, take drugs, etc

None of which would make him a bad person in my eyes or excuse his murder. Just would explain a few things)
