Not an excuse
But a reason
Maybe after watching the cringing reponse of "Good" Negroes to racist insult and oppression they feel contempt--especially when the cowards attempt to upbraid them for their behavior.
Maybe it is because the "Good" Negroes lack any power to reward or punish--their admonitions are empty and contain no implication that they are willing orable to provide any assistance.
I know that when the Sargeant kicks the Private he is supposed to be able to work his frustration out by kicking the cat--what if the cat can kick back? |

And of course, chrishayden, "good negroes" are all the people who don't conform to your subjective, self-styled specifications of how black people should act. You really have a problem when somebody expresses a point of view contrary to yours because you've convinced yourself that you own the truth. You seem unable to comprehend that there is "truth" and then there is the "whole" truth as it exists in the big picture. All you ever focus on is one frame in a reel. |

Ahh as usual this list has served to help me clarify my own thoughts.
In the past, being at a loss for words, I would label the cringing, crawling, invertebrate Negroes Middle Class Negroes.
It is obvious that this is beyond class--some of these people are poor as church mice and others are rich
"Good" (with the quotation marks) Negroes. That's what I mean. |

I admit it is hard going down. I probably should candy coat it or do it in parables or jokes or something but you won't have me with you long.
