i remember about 10 years ago there was a scandal that broke about "Denny's restaurants"
they were accused of being "racist" towards certain people such as black and Hispanics.

i would be interested to know if the allegations were true?
and if so, have Denny's changed their policy and treat all their staff and customers in a dignified
manner?
what has your experience of eating at Denny's?
were you treated and served your food with courtesy?
we don't have Denny's here in the uk
but i have had experience of being ignored when i went into a bar one evening and ordered a drink for my girlfriend and I and i remember the barman just ignored me even though i was next in the queue.
so i pulled him up and he look really embrassed
and served me.
ive never been back to that bar since because i don't want to spend my money in a public place
in which i am treated as if i am invisible.
what has been your experience of being treated discourtesly?
did you find you had to ask to be treated with courtesy?
whilst others didn't?
i remember reading a old ebony magazine that featured a interview with janet jackson and she spoke about a time when she was in a shop on rodeo drive in Hollywood and one of the sales assistants
didn't want to serve or something along those lines.
and janet mentioned how humiliated she felt at being treated like that and i as far as i remember
she didn't let the sales assistant get away with it.
again what has your experience been in a similar situation?
do you feel you were treated badly because you are
a black man or woman?

Yes they were true, although I was always treated well when I went into Dennys here in St. Louis.

Probably because the one I went to was freqented by Black people.

Damn. I liked it so much there (almost as much as International House of Pancakes--ooooh! such toplist places) I might try to go by there tonight for old times sake.

I've gone to a number of different Denny's and I've never encountered a problem. I think people should exercise the brain cells in their heads before making these sweeping condemnations. The personnel behavior and racial conflict of the Denny's in question may be located in a particular geographical area and not representative of an entire national chain. The Denny's in Redneck, Georgia may not be the same as the one in San Francisco or Cleveland or Buffalo. I hope people realize this. Unless there is a clearly observable and provable pattern of behavior in the chain, people should focus a particular Denny's (where the racial incident occurred) or ones that may be located in a particular area.

"What does that prove?"

It means that whiny paranoid Negroes like you are not always right (claiming racism) when you're not waited on within five minutes of entering Denny's.

(No it proves you're a liar. I bet you go there to look longingly at the waitresses and watch them when they bend over to get their tips and you have a huge hard on.

I bet they knock the ice tea over in your lap and you tingle and have an orgasm.

Then you leave a 25 cent tip.

(Watch out Nfts! There's the Missus. Nelly, don't be such a stranger)
