I don't think Prince is worried about his career. He is financially secure, is a legend by virtue of being enshrined in the hall of fame, and his body of work speaks well for his legacy. But music is what he's all about, so he just keeps making it. He now has the luxury of giving away CDs and embracing woman of all hues and it could be that his conversion to the Jehovahs Witnesses has also re-ordered his priorities. |

HTF is Prince concerned about his career being resurrected when he just performed at the 2007 SuperBowl half-time show. Besides that, he's written and published hundreds of songs. I think it's around 1,000 but I'm not positive. He earns royalties from the performances of his songs by other acts, so in what way is he desperate, exactly?
