VENUS wasn't the only black person
to win at Wimbledon--though she's one
of the few to have now won FOUR TIMES 
There's also Donald Young...
...he won the BOYS 2007 Championship.
So hopefully we'll have him on the horizon
to watch!

Wow...I am afraid to say I haven't heard of him.
But well done all the same, it is great to see 'people like us' finally getting some recognition and exceeding expectations.
He is kind of fine too lol.
Have you guys in the states of Lewis Hamilton, the F1 driver? |

Yes, I have heard of Lewis Hamilton but I don't know much about him. Is he British? There is an African American guy who is a race car driver, but I don't know his name. |

Yep, Lewis Hamilton is British, born in England to Grenadan and Trinidadian parents.
He is making everyone proud as the first Black/person of colour to tear up the F1. He has achieved a heck of a lot at twenty two.
He was raised by a very supportive father who made a lot of sacrifices for him (and if he isn't the model as to why black boys need their fathers in their lives - I don't know what is)!
Hamilton is very vocal on the fact that he is the first Black person in the F1 and is very proud to be a role model to young Black men. |

And I didn't know there was an African-American competeing in the F1? Is he getting a lot of coverage and support in the USA?
I am gonna do some investigations (on google lol) and try and find out who he is. |

Look for big things from the number one high school tennis player in the state of Illinois. He's from Chicago and is black. His name is Evan King and he attends Walter Payton Academy

LOL, he is a bit of alright isn't he Robyn!
Bill Lester looks cute too, it is great to see Blacks in the F1 finally - I hope he does well.
And it is also brilliant to see more Black men in tennis. Will be looking out for Evan King. |
