They always say you should do the right thing. This morning I got another illustration of that.
This guy who stays next door sometimes in the garage (a long story--I'll tell it sometimes) was drunk and popping firecrackers at 4 am. This was after a long night of folks setting off all kinds of fireworks all around-
Yes it is illegal as hell, just like it is to shoot guns on New Years, but if they tried to arrest everybody on the North Side doing it they'd have to open four or five more jails.
I have had it--even though I was up.
I started plotting on him--
Thinking of the location of some gasoline, I would make up a molotov cocktail, wait until he passed out and toss it over the fence. He would surely get the blame for it--heheheh.
All the sudden I thought, what do I want to do. Barbecue a Negro or get him to stop?
I went out on the porch, yelled, Hey *****! People are trying to sleep! Cut it out!
"Okay," he replied sheepishly. And he quit and went in the garage and I assume passed out and was quiet.
Gee. I just did what you are supposed to do. and it worked.
I feel good today. |

LOL! Here's my firecracker story. I live on the very edge of town - out in the county. And so every year people drive out to this part of town with their fireworks because they're illegal to discharge in the city. But I hate when they do it because sometimes firecrackers land on my property and I'm always worried that my house might catch fire. So anyway, I was plotting like Chris, thinking about how I wish a sniper would come along or the Border Patrol do a drive-by and take out all the Mexicans out there with their firecrackers when all of the sudden it started to rain. Hard. And the Mexicans went away. And Mzuri had peace. Once again. The end

That's right Ms. Cynique! I agree. Black folks who work hard, support their children, go to school, avoid the thug and street life and do not make excuses for their failures, are the ones to be loathed and dismissed as proxies for white racists. A Negro who is an alcoholic and drug fiend would be unfairly criticized by Mr. Cosby. It's a shame....! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! |

Yeah, that, too, NTFS. Chrishayden said he had a big problem with this poor ol downtrodden soul so, actually, I was putting him in a category with Cosby, who chrishayden is always raggin on. |

WHew....I dont know what to say. Its very sad to me that he hates Bill Crosby and says it publicly. Somethings you should keep to yourself and take to your grave..but thats just me and how I feel.

I think it denotes weakness in a person's character and it's what helps to oppress people.
I've heard other black people, especially from the south espouse that as "manners", but don't you think that comes from slavery days?
