All I hear from the pundits and anchorfolk is that we all favor the immigration bill--yet I haven't run into one person face to face who does.

For Black Immigrants - absolutely.
For Hispanic immigrants, not for all, no.
I haven't read the bill but if it's true that they're keeping the most educated then our Black Immigrants should fair well.

I just read this morning that Congress rebuffed (again!) Bush's weak Immigration Bill again. The whole thing is a farce. But I'm still glad they heard the anger and disappointment of the American public. But in the mean time, our southern borders are still being overrun and Bush (along with the Congressional bought big business whores) is quite happy to let it continue.
