If this particular man is guilty of murdering the mother of his child/children, it will be unfortunate that a lot of people, and the media, will ultimately fixate on the subject of race rather than that of domestic abuse/murder.
Shame on people who can't focus on the real issue!!!!

That depends on the area and it depends on the (BM) racial make-up of the environment. In Philly, NY, and most east coast settings, white men hit on Black women all the time. Tho when we're in a majority Black environment, white men will hesitate somewhat. But when in an area where the pll are mostly white or all-white, white men are very casual in their approach. E.g., while at work white men use to treat me one way when our Black male co-workers were present (non-sexual in dialogue/approach), however, when our Black male co-workers weren't around they'd act differently, more flirtatious and attentive. It is a non-threatening, comfort-level thing which depends on the setting, area and racial make-up and, above all, the presence or absence of Black men, imo. |

anybody who claims black women are the ones who want interracial is a liar you have very small percentage of black women and usually are very young crowd who would even date a white man in public but they are being forced to nowadays by black men that whats true, but black women don't want white men and never have and white men will tell you that. |

How true. There was a story where I live involving a white girl being shot during a gang shootout on Boxing day. This occurred at or near a shopping mall. The Headines! a while later a black girl was killed while being in the line of fire for the intended victim her boyfriend. Some headlines but the story petered out a few days later. This appears to be a pattern in the media. Based upon the countless headlines published when a white girl/woman is killed and the duration of the stories in the press, one can see that there is a bias being exercised. |

This young woman played with fire and she got burned. She didn't learn her lesson. She repeated a mistake and paid the price. But I don't think the murder was premeditated. The suspect might have been a black man who did not react well to being sweated about being irresponsible. IMO. |

I agree this was probably a heat of the moment murder. The media is reporting that a female friend helped Cutts (what an unfortunate last name) helped dump the body. The Klan has even chimed in issuing death threats.

Now this other guy from suburban Chicago who, in the early morning hours on the way to a family vacation, had pulled his SUV off the side of the road where he claimed his wife had shot their 3 kids and wounded him in the leg before killing herself, has been arrested and charged with these murders. There have been NUMEROUS studies that have been done to show that most Black women would NEVER even consider dating interracially. Even if they had that chance and opportunity.

I find it very unlikely that considering the shortage of eligible men that a single black woman would arbitrarily reject any man who was intelligent, attractive, sexy and gainfully employed who found her appealing. |

Abm, honestly, I'd take Biz Markie over Brad Pitt any day. Brad Pitt is not sexy to me AT ALL. And I don't consider Biz Markie bad looking. My taste in men IS a bit different than other women's though. For instance, I think Shabba Ranks (sp) is foinne as hell but my girlfriends don't think so. But to me attitude plays a huge roll in whether or not I find a guy sexy. I can't explain the things they do, (and this is not directed at you really) but there's something about smart guys with cocky attitudes, I don't know what it is but they can make me do some crazy things and I’m being completely honest, not trying to be PC at all.

CANTON, Ohio — The police officer boyfriend of a 9-months-pregnant Ohio mom whom authorities say he murdered was ordered held on $5 million bond Monday.
Bobby Cutts Jr., 30, faces two counts of murder for allegedly killing 26-year-old Jessie Davis and her nearly full-term fetus.
Cutts attended his 3 p.m. EDT arraignment hearing at Canton Municipal Court in orange prison garb and glasses and stood behind bulletproof glass. A preliminary hearing was set for July 2 at 1 p.m. EDT.
Cutts' attorney, Bradley Iams, said he wasn't surprised by the high bond. He told reporters after the hearing that he would not discuss conversations he's had with his client — whom he said he has known for a long time — and declined to comment on other details of the case.
Myisha Ferrell, 29, a high school classmate who police say helped Cutts cover up his crime by lying to investigators, was also arraigned at the same courthouse for obstruction of justice.

She said she "almost cheered" when bond was set at $5 million.
"We knew Bobby Cutts up until a certain point in this, and after that point we did not know him at all," Porter said, adding she didn't think her daughter Jessie really knew him, either.
She reiterated that the family had "prayed" Cutts wasn't involved in what happened to her daughter.
"We don't want vengeance," Porter said. "We want justice." She said her daughter's death was "an unbearable loss."
Whitney Davis said she was disgusted by Cutts.
A man who would only describe himself as Cutts' uncle left the courtroom complaining that the family was shoved into the far corner and furthest from the window.
Moments before the defendants appeared, three reporters were asked to move so that the Davis family could sit in the center of the courtroom.
What the heck was Myeshia thinking? Did she actually want to be with Cutts?
Now the family is angry. But initially they said they did not suspect him. |

Robymarie, this case is so surreal. Here's a guy with a long history of dealing with white woman and when he gets in trouble, he calls on a sista to aid and abet him. His perky white girlfriends were apparently drawn to his bad-boy edginess, eventually becoming the ennabler for his violent tendencies all of which evolved into a prescription for disaster. It's an American tragedy and there is enough blame to go around. IMO.

It's a wonder chrishayden, OJ Simpson's biggest supporter, isn't rising to the defense of Bobby Cutts. Instead in his ongoing Bill Cosby vendetta, chris is trying to portray Cutts as a respectible middle-class black man. Puleeze. This guy is no such thing. In a little town like Canton, Ohio, he was just the town stud, working as a cop, getting by on his past reputation as a star highschool athlete, the swaggering embodiment of a ghetto mentality, even having a record for felony which the police force expunged because he had friends in the ranks. Bobby Cutts was a rogue and an abuser and it all caught up with him. |

Cynique you are bang on with your observations about this miscreant! Any observations as to why he turned to this woman for help instead of some white woman which he seemed to prefer? There is a man who slaughtered his wife and three children in or around Chicago. This case didn't get half the exposure that this one did. Perhaps if it had been a Black man who murdered his wife who was white we would be reading and hearing more about this. |

It's absolutely intentional that the media plays on the fact that this case involves a black man and white women, because it's a way to further their agenda of keeping the world fearful - and hateful - of black men and interracial couplings. Minus the perverse distractions, the case is about domestic violence. This man clearly had a violent past and is a known womanizer. And I think it's a stretch to say he "preferred" white women. I think the white women he happened to "mess with" are the ones who just happened to get pregnant. And as the case progresses, I won't be surprised one bit if the investigation produces more women - of all colors - who had a rocky past with him. Jessie, as extremely unfortunate as it is, and with all due respect, just happened to be the one that endured the worse physical abuse - abuse that led to her untimely death. Regarding Myisha, I'd put money on it that she was just one of the many women that he strung along, and I don't think it's because he has "gold between his legs" either. The way people have described him, he seems like a typical sociopath that used his words, paired with random acts of empty sex, to manipulate women who didn't have enough self-esteem to require better for their own lives and/or their children(s) lives. And this type of shyt happens everyday, the world over, to White women, Black women, Latina women and Asian women.

I think this case initially gained media attention because the victim was pregnant. Ever since the Lacy Peterson disappearance there's always going to be great interest when this type of crime occurs. The fact that the confessed killer and babydaddy is a Black man, a police officer with multiple babymommas and a female accomplice, etc. are all secondary considerations but these are the types of juicy tidbits that arouse human interest and are the reasons that will keep this case alive in the media for months.

Race cannot be factored out of this sensationalistic case. Its scenario is the stuff white nightmares are made of. In 2007 a black man cannot be strung up for killing a white woman, but he can be lynched in the media through the use of subliminal devices. And I'm not so sure that Cutts didn't have gold between his legs. His animal magnetism was probably what attracted and hooked women. Or can it be denied that behind every woman abuser, there is a dysfunctional woman who enables his violent behavior. |

I agree. Cutts is very attractive-for a monster! Underneath the tragedy is the subtext that "black men are out of control, determined to take our white women and look what happens." Or from the point of view of many black people "see what happens when black men mess with white women." Either way you cannot get away from the race card.
BTW, I have not heard the domestic violence angle with regards to Jessie. According to Jessie's mom, she got up, went to work, took care of her son and was in bed by 8:00 pm. If Cutts was beating her, her mother kept it quiet.
No way this terrible crime would have gotten this amounut of publicity if the victim was a black woman-no way.
The media are suckers for smiling innocent looking white girls everytime. Never mind the fact that she chose to have to children by an abusive, mentally unstable married man. |

The defense attorneys are already doing their spin. They are saying that the body was so decomposed that they may not be able to establish cause of death and Jessie may have had a seizure brought on by eclampsia that can occur in the final stages of pregnancy. Or it could've been an accident. The only witness is the accomplice and the toddler whose account isn't that reliable. A case could be made that he panicked and staged a cover-up because he knew he would be a suspect. Who knows?? His black girlfriend kinda holds the key. |

What are the stereotypes that come into play in this situation, Moonsigns? Their being an interracial couple is inexolerably involved in this tragedy. And just what constitutes a stereotypical interracial couple?
Cutts' mug shot reveals that he has regular features and I think the way he is holding his head back makes his ears look more prominent than they would if he had posed differently. I can picture him in different circumstances where he might exude appeal because he comes across as somebody with an aura of sensuality and danger. |

(OJ was innocent--at least of what they were trying him for which was for cutting two people's throats unaided, running home, cleaning up, and getting picked up all in about a half an hour--the time line won't fit, but it makes no difference.

You got this one pegged. The wrestler near Atlanta, killed his wife, then hours later killed their son, and then hung himself. And, then they found some steroids in the house. Cutts were just evil, but the wrestler, well, the steroids made him do it. But, before killing himself, he told folks that his wife and child had food poisoning. I have never heard of steroids causing a person to strangle their wife, choke their son, to death, and then hang themselves. And, then as usual, afterwards something like this, we get all the neighbors, friends and family who are saying, I can't believe he did this, he was such a nice, caring and gentle person. Wonder if they gonna find folks to say the same about Cutts.
Another interesting note, all this about this womanizing man, but the dead woman had two out of wedlock children, with a married man, is being painted as an angel and not the mistress. All the women, he attracted or was attracted to him, are/were just as pathetic as he was/is. |

Oh get real, chrishayden. There was nothing extraordinary or exemplary about this small town cop that would inspire anybody to randomly hold him up as role model. And anybody could look at him and tell that he wasn't "bougie". |
