Are you trying imply that McGruder didn't earn any of the praise he's gotten throughout his career? Whatever you say. |

Not really. But I think Knight does a better job of actually DOING what McGruder is so often given credit for.

No. I wouldn't say McGruder didn't earn ANY of the praise he's gotten. But I do think the praise he's gotten exceeds what he's done, ESPECIALLY in juxaposition to what Knight does yet is NOT as richly celebrated. |

Knight has won a Harvey before - last year, even - that's one of the greatest honors you can get as a cartoonist. Basically, it's the equivalent of winning an Oscar.
