The US Census Bureau recently released some interesting new race data.
US Population
White: 200 million
Hispanic: 44 million
Black: 40 million
Asian: 14 million
Indian/Alaska Native: 4 million
Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander: 1 million
States with Largest Percentage of Minority Populations
Hawaii (75%)
DC (68%)
New Mexico and California (57%)
Texas (52%)
States with the Most Blacks
New York (3.5 million)
Florida (3 million)
Texas (2.9 million)
Georgia (2.8 million)

40 million people who identify themselves as black, - 40 million individuals who undoubtedly live their lives according to their own personal philosphy. Doesn't bode well for self-appointed black leaders. |
