6:00 AM, this morning June 16, 2007!
I'm sitting on the proch mediating on the origins of the American Japanese Pacific War of 1941-45 and some similarities to the present time (I have been reading Gordon Prange's "At Dawn We Slept"--which might have been titled "At Dawn We Jerked Off"--
But I digress.
Suddenly I spied the white man of the hood calling to me as he walked up the street (some young ones have started moving in--Gentrification and all that)
"Hey, can you help me carry my wife inside?" he asked.
"Hell naw!" I said, envisioning that he has whacked her and trying to dispose of the body.
"Naw naw. She' drunk"
I go down the street. This broad is passed out on the sidewalk. As we turn her over to lift her, her dress parts and she ain't wearing no drawers.
"We were celebrating our anniversary" he explains.
"Congratulations" I say.
In 40 years of living where I live in, off and on, I ain't never had to help none of my black neighbors get they drunk wife in the house, and ain't seen they naked ass on the sidewalk. And you and Bill Cosby wanna bellyache about niggers!
But in my long and checkered career I have been drunk and unconcho and carried more than once so I dood it.
But I ws thinking. I just started the day and ALREADY I done had a white broad's naked drunk ass in my face.
And white folks are always wondering why we don't see America the same way they do! |

Both my neighbors are white. One, a female, got about fifty thousand cats, and the other, a male, is a nasty mofo so he got about fifty thousand rats; and me and my punk ass and my one cat is in the middle of this bullshit!!!!!,
so I know what the hell you're talking about. Plus I grew up in an all-white neighborhood...you haven't seen a bunch of niggers until you've experienced that. And many of these mofos were extremely wealthy. Yet their niggerdom crossed economic lines, just as it does with Black folks. I hear you, bro...this fantasy that some Blacks have of white people is just that: a fantasy.

Very few black people fantasize about white people being upstanding! Puleeze. And the obsession that some black folks have with the behavior of white people is just that: obsession. This is why I don't understand why Cosby-haters don't do what they usually do, which is to excuse the disgraceful behavior of a black person by reminding that "white folks are even worse"! wooooooo. snort. |

Well, Tonya, I feel pretty comfortable in saying that most black people are not of the opinion that white behavior is exemplary, and, in fact, dissing white folks is a favorite pass time of black people. So I had a problem with your use of the word "fantasy" which seem to imply that black folks imagine that white people have these high standards. As usual, I'm not sure what it is you're trying to say in regard to logic, but, in my opinion, Bill Cosby should enjoy the same "privilege" that black apologists give to other "immoral" black folks whose behavior they excuse because white folks do things that are just as bad or even worse. |

So maybe you should tell that to the folks who excuse bad behavior by basing it on the actions of whites, another example of logic, btw. Though in your case this might be bad advice considering that your opinion on what constitutes an excuse for bad behavior should be suspect based on your reasoning and the fact that no one here ever used such as cause for justification. And if you have a "problem" with the way I used "fantasy" that's your "problem". If "the shoe fits" that is neither my fault nor am I responsible for it (or anything you may have conjured up in response to it) making you feel uncomfortable. It was a general comment, I said some Blacks and not at any one person in particular. |

Well, as you say, Tonya, if the shoe fits wear it. I didn't single you out as one of the certain people who are obsessed and preoccupied with what whites do. But you really do need to be having a problem with the word "fantasy", yourself, because even you ought to know damn well that blacks ain't fantasizing about how respectible white people act. And you just posted a comment gloating about how white people are worst that black folks. Get real. |

How can you be sure of what I've seen or what I know? That it offended you so and has gotten you so miffed does not explain how you could possibly be an expert on what I ought to know. It just shows that right now you're emotional.

You are making broad assumptions in your attempt to rebut points that I never advanced but that you have conjured up in order to try and refute what I haven't said. I've been drunk enough to jump out of a moving vehicle, vomit on a stranger's roses, pass out on their porch, and be put into bed by my roommates (all of this happened in one day)....and I ain't NEVER lost my underwear somewhere (or had them taken).
But as far as "missy" goes.....As my husband says when he sees people driving crazy: crack and Old Irish Rose will do that to ya.

Reneta, chile, nobody likes his nasty ass. I never seen a rat but I know he got them cuz when I look inside his window all I see is junk thrown EVERYWHERE. I’m waiting to see a rat cuz as soon as I do I’ma call the health department on his behind. The lady with the cats is sweet tho. She doesn’t bother anybody.
