Misdemeanor-indecent exposure. Penalities seem kinda harsh, but I am tired of looking at folks underwear.

here's the link to the story. Apparently, this kind of ban has been tried before, with little success. Folks think you are trying to tell them how to dress. I don't agree with Jason Whitlock about much, but I do think this kind of attire glorifies the prison culture. |

Oh yeah when the teens and young adults register on the first day that's all we see...underwear, then on the second day, the director goes out and buys belts for some campers..because there's no sagging during camp ! Two weeks. University of Redlands. Next month. |

I never could figure out what these people are thinking. Who comes up with these whack trends? I saw one young man walking with his pants down around his thighs, and steady pulling on them trying to keep them up. Why even bother wearing the pants at all, just wear your stank drawers and be done with it.

Those fools ride the bus??? One would think they'd be too cool for that but I suppose they don't have enough sense to know that if they simply pulled their pants up maybe they could get a job, and then they could establish credit, and then they could buy a car (not that there's anything wrong with riding the bus, I'm just saying). But they're probably functionally illiterate and I'm sure they're too busy worrying about matching their socks to their drawers and making sure their sneakers are fly. It probably hasn't occured to these pantsies that nobody's going to hire them to do anything. Ever. This is the sad result of our fatherless society. Now we need the Black fashion police to go around and knock these morons over their empty heads, among other things.

I share the concerns about the lessening of the general decorum. But imposing criminal sanctions against foks for wearing sagging pants seems to me to be just another (of seemingly endless) tools for unfairly criminalizing Black MEN.
And, yes, I know Whites and other non-Blacks also have started to go the buttcrack-in-public route. But, honestly, whom do you think would be most penalized by such a law? |

Good point bro ABM but it's hard to say. I see white kids all the time who have been severely infected with the doofus drawers virus. The Mexicans are included also. I see it all here is So Cal. I understand the spirit and intent of this law but I have no idea how effective or useful such a law would be. Like our current drug laws, I think this particular law would create more problems then it effectively addresses or attempts to correct. But I do understand the revulsion at this mindless behavior. I just got back from a black inner city in Ohio and I was disgusted at what I saw. It was never that bad when I lived there. Times change but not always for the best...
