Nafisa_goma, tell Kola to bring her behind up in here and let us know how she's been doing. Tell her I'd like to hear from her, I'm sure Abm and others would as well. Tell her that shit that went down in the pass is squashed, as far as I'm concerned. She can cuss my ass out....I don't give a fuk....as long as she at least holler at a nigga and let us know how and what she's been up to. Thanks.

Hi Tonya,

Kola said she loves you and misses you very much and that you can email her at kolaboof_email@yahoo.com

She won't ever be coming back to the board.

A lots been going on with her.

She's very upset right now over the death of Ousmane Sembene who meant a lot to her.

She won a legal battle to have the "Kola Boof" page removed from Wikipedia because of all the vandelism the page was receiving.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Boof

She's booked to appear in New York City on Sunday, Sept. 16th and she's excited that Troy Johnson said he's coming to the show to see her.

I can't print anymore details about the invent until the contract is signed, but that should be soon.

Her pop novel "Virgins In the Beehive" comes out in November and her poetry collection "Egyptian Sudanese American: New Poems by Kola Boof" will be released in January (it's been moved to Jan. 2008).

She's going on tour to Philadelphia, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami, Dallas and some other cities but no dates are set.

Her tour is very expensive and she has to pay for it all herself, so that's the reason for the delays.

Her kids are doing great, but she's been separated from them at times as they had some "scares" and had to go into temporary hiding.

People in the industry continue to make up lies on Kola and that hurts and annoys her, so she is becoming more reclusive and has stopped trying to reach out to other writers and artists.

She's about to begin writing a novel called "Italian Disco Music" and she just started writing "notes" for a new novel called "Mother Goddamn" that's going to take her several years to write and she's looking for an agent to sell these new books.

She's hoping to get her first movie made (with her writing, producing and directing). She has several films planned and one of them "God's Hair" is going to star Isaiah Washington, who she specifically wrote the leading role for--but she has to get financing of $3 million before they can shoot the movie.

She's been having a horrible relationship with the new publisher of her autobiography, Seaburn Books.

As always, Kola said she loves, misses and adores Abm.

Nafisa_goma,

It’s good to hear she’s having so much success. She's been on my mind since I read about Sembene's death. I figured she wouldn't take it well. I'll send her my condolences in an e-mail, thanks.
