So they shouldn't be in a position to flex their power? We can nail Imus for the nappy headed hoes but they can't nail somebody for saying "faggot"?
If you are on hate radio you can belittle gays. If you are a televangelist you can do it. You can do it in your church.
Only a fool would do it in any area of showbiz outside country music--maybe heavy metal.
I feel for the brother but no doubt
1) This ain't the only time he's done something
2) He didn't have his relationship with the gay community tight so they would rally to his defense.

This woman and article is STUPID!!! Black ppl's religious beliefs have nothing to do with it. Believe they are not going to keep someone on because of some ignorant attitude that Black ppl believe.
Now don't get me wrong. I personally don't think that Isiah Washington should have been fired myself. Because I truly don't believe what the man said was out of homophobia or some nagging religious belief that he holds.
I honestly don't think Isiah Washington is HOMOPHOBIC. I just think that he said what he did out of anger.
Granted, what he said was STUPID and should not have been said. Especially since his co-star didn't say or do anything to him to warrant that. However, when you realize just how RACIST the White gay community is then believe me you won't blame him a bit.
Not to mention this particular article is very racist, and homophobic and to me is a poor representation of how educated Black ppl think anyway.
NOTHING IS BEING SHOVED DOWN BLACK PPL'S THROATS BELIEVE ME!! White America doesn't care enough about us to want to shove anything down our throats. They couldn't care less of how we think and feel. About our religious beliefs and moral convictions.

if I don't like what you say in my house, church business, etc I can boot you out for it.
Gay people are very powerful in the arts and show business. The man was asking for it saying "faggot" if he wasn't gay.
Try walking around with a "CripKiller" t shirt in a neighborhood controlled by crips. Go into a Catholic church with a "•••• the Pope" t-shirt.
As much as black people get a hair up their ass at the word •••••• they ought to be the last ones to complain. |

Yup. Another Negro done went and forgot that his ass is Black. To be honest, I don't care to know an actor/entertainers personal opinions about anything. Just go dance, sing, jump up and down and spin around like a good puppet since that's what you get paid for. I can make my own decisions on the environment, the president, which car to drive, what food I will consume and what brand of widgets I'll use.
As to Washington, he must be one dumb clownie assed Negro to be involved in an industry that is owned by gays and hurl an insult about faggots. What was he thinking to argue with a co-worker on the set anyway, as if any of the majority white people would have sided with him. He'll probably NEVER get another role as long as he lives unless he produces that ish his own self. What a dope!
