Black Girl dies on school trip.
We have all heard about the disappearance and presumed death of Natalee Holloway even now almost a year later but how many have heard of the case of Phylicia Moore who died in February while on a school trip to Ghana? Her parents want Ghana to let the FBI to investigate the case because they believe foul play was involved in her death. Click the link below:

Do we really need to spell it out for you?

This is a rhetorical question, yes?

There's so much mess going on over in Ghana I'm amazed that the people let their daughter travel there at all. Not that they are to blame, but Ghana isn't exactly your dream vacation spot so I have to wonder what they were thinking. Ghana is real messy, crime ridden, lots of dirty politics, police corruption. It's basically a land of lawlessness

http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive

The story isn't all over the media because there's no mystery. She didn't disappear, she was found dead in the swimming pool. And the Ghanian officials say that she drowned. If it was a murder, the killer shall never be caught. End of story.

(Sounds like El Paso)

Washington, D.C. is actually a lot worse

(St. Louis is worser than that--per capita. Yet many of us still have a good time. Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow ye die!)

Wrong Chris. It's not like El Paso at all. El Paso is the third safest city in the U.S.A. with a population over 500K

http://morganquitno.com/cit07pop.htm#500,000+

I strongly urge you to take your head out of your ass so you can get a clue.

Americansista, this place overseas is Ghana. I think people should pay if there really was some sort of villainy but I do NOT want western media putting their spin on anything concerning Ghana....The intentional and unconscious racist rhetoric has done enough damage and there’s no shortage of this ignorance to not spread thru our community to those who actually have an excuse for their vulnerability to misinformation. If it was a murder, I’d rather see it go unsolved even than to have the Anderson Cooper's of the world twist it to fit their racist Tarzan fantasies. One unsolved murder is FAR LESS dangerous to AA/(Pan African) society than another generation of us being taught to hate ourselves.

Boy Ton-Ton you are another breathe of "fresh air". I love your comments babygirl.

We couldn't get enough of Natalie Holloway. Some rich white girl who was "cut up" and dismembered by White men who were even more powerful and richer. Boy, White men don't play. Even there own women should know better than to challenge them.

HA!HA!HA! and they say that Black women are the biggest recepients of Domestic Violence.

(That ain't sayin' SQUAT! Safest city in the USA? So what? They had more murders there than they had in all but a handful of other whole COUNTRIES in the world!

You live in a violent hellhole. You are like a frog in a pan of water, slowly the temperature is rising until you are boiled to death.

You are almost too stupid to live. Check yourself before you wreck yourself!)

Honestly, I don't expect white people to care about our tragedies. I mean, really, why should we expect them to care as much about our own people as they do their own?

Thanks for posting that story, Americansista. It was news to me.

BTW, this is what's great about the internet. We can keep EACH OTHER abreast of what's going on in the black world.

a sad story.

her parents were on radio here in nyc about a week ago, telling the story of what happened to their daughter.

if she was white, there would have been a "media-blitz".

but "black life" is clearly under-valued in america.

the week jon-benet ramsey was kiled, there was a black girl about the same age waho was also found murdered.

i don't even remember the black girls' name.

the same old song is being played.

Wow. Very sad. I hope the investigation reveals the truth.
