Rush Limbaugh billboard near I-83 defaced
Official: 'It looks like they took globs of paint and threw it on his face'

Apparently, somebody in Baltimore isn't a fan of Rush Limbaugh.
A large billboard advertising local air times for the conservative radio talk-show host has been defaced.
Robert Murrow, a spokesman for the city's Department of Public Works, saw the vandalism as he drove to work this morning on I-83 near the Guilford Avenue exit. He called The Sun, saying that someone had poured paint on the image of Limbaugh's face.
Limbaugh, who is nationally syndicated, can be heard on WCBM 680 AM from noon to 3 p.m.
"It looks like they took globs of paint and threw it on his face. It looks great. It did my heart good," said Murrow, who admittedly is not a Limbaugh fan.
Kurt L. Kocher, chief spokesman for the city's Department of Public Works and Murrow's supervisor, took issue with Murrow's statement.
"As much as you don't like Rush Limbaugh, you don't endorse vandalism, period," Kocher said. "It's an outrageous comment, and he shouldn't have said it. It is not our policy. I think he got overenthusiastic about his feelings for Mr. Limbaugh. I am very upset about that comment, and I've let him know I'm very upset about that comment. It's his personal comment and it's wrong. It does not belong out there in any kind of official capacity. As far as I'm concerned, he was not speaking for the department."
The billboard is privately owned; Murrow said the city is not responsible for cleaning it.
News of the billboard defacement spread quickly to Limbaugh, who noted it at the top of his broadcast at noon today.
"I think I'm the one that needs Secret Service protection," he said. "All this talk about Obama and these presidential candidates. For crying out loud, I'm the one who needs it."
"I'm just waiting for all of the cable news networks," he added. "They're probably at this moment sending video crews to Baltimore. And there are going to be roundtable discussions later on. ... What's happening to the civility of our society? And I will be blamed for defacing my own billboard. Whoever did it will be made a hero."
Robert L. Pettit, the general manager for WCBM, said the vandalism was first noticed Monday and that the billboard is to be replaced later today. It was put up two weeks ago in an alley near Preston Street and Mount Royal Avenue.
"It's tough to be number 1," Pettit said of Limbaugh's show. "People deface billboards all the time. It's going to be fixed today."

This asshole won't clam up until somebody shuts his mouth for him.
I'm sick of all this pacifist, take it up the butt, ignore it and it will go away feeling.
Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.
I know lots of people don't want to fight. Their first reaction when they face a lying bully is to bend over and offer him a piece of booty.
This is America. That is not respected.
