Over and over again this phrase comes up: self-hate. woo-woo. Piss on this self-hate label! It's a construct - a catch-all phrase the certain black people use to conveniently brand anybody who doesn't share their sentiments about racial issues. "Self" is how the core of the psyche has become manifest, - it is an abtract entity that is what it is. And there is no greater form of self-love than opting to thrive within the context of being all that you can be. Who has the right to repress the self-indulgence that allows a person to broaden rather than narrow their scope? A person doesn't hate himself just because he isn't a masochist bogged down in a "misery loves company" mind-set that insists everybody love only the image forged by self-appointed arbitrators seeking to define identity and psycho-analyse anyone who doesn't conform to their norms. People who give free reign to their individuality are the epitome of self-love. All these folks obsessively ragging about "self-hate" need to take a closer look at themselves to get a clue as to why they are so hung up on the idea of self-hate. Puleeze. Would that unity one day emerge from diversity. |

blacks are not the only group that uses "self hate" banner just look up Jews, Latinos, Indians and you will find even more article about self hate among minority group its not just blacks. |

Do you consider yourself an example of self hate since you disguise yourself as something other than who you are, "enchanted"? heh-heh. If a person chooses to embrace the popular image instead of the ethnic one, it can just as easily be interpreted as being self-love instead of self hate. To prefer acceptance over rejection is a form of stroking the ego and the ego is an extension of self-love. I stand by my opinion that "self-hate" is a catch-all defensive tactic used by certain blacks who attempt to squelch the legitimacy of their adversaries. |

Stupid Cynique I will repeat what I said on another post yesterday that is "insecure" people are insecure not self-hating. In other words Im saying exact same thing as you just pointng out its not just blacks who do this. My view has not changed you just dont read too busy trying to convince yourself Im kola.

Heh-heh. What's really interesting is that the only rebuttal that lame brain Serenasailor can come up with is the word "interesting." He can't sort out his thoughts enough to figure out that, according to his way of thinking, if I hated myself I'd be trying to change how I look and act. And, believe me, being exposed to a numbskull like Serenasailor is the best reason in the world to love myself for not having a one-track mind like his.
