I wouldn't applaud his parenting or anything else about Rock quite yet. But it is interesting to hear him say this (allegedly), I applaud that.

He's delusional if he thinks he can control what his children are exposed to (unless he controls their movements 24/7 or keeps them locked down). I heard a "song" on the radio the other day - the Hoochie Momma song - they were singing about masturbating and ejaculating. On the RADIO. During the day. I wouldn't want a grown person to listen to that stuff. How the heck do you keep your children isolated from the radio???

Well, I hope Chris also makes sure his daughters never see any of his obscene stand-up comedy specials. He also might want to keep them away from his last movie which encouraged adultery and - tanked at the box office. |

abm: right. nurturing intelligent, independent thought can empower children or young adults with the necessary weapons to combat materialism, unprotected sex, etc....of course, no one is perfect, and children, as are adult, are likely to slip...but i tend to think those with that voice in their heads telling them "dummy, I told you not to do that," are the same ones likely not to misstep again. |

Thats actually quite interesting seeing as how Chris Rock is in the same business as Beyonce and some of his material is not only harmful to Black children but to Black ppl as a whole.
How dare he tries to "down" Beyonce! Shes doing the same thing he is. And that is acting like a "Coonish" Negro just to entertain White ppl and make money.

It's suggests he's involved in monitoring what his children are exposed to. And that's a sign of good parenting. I don't know if that's what Rock actually does. Now do I know what else he does as a parent. But if he is watching and checking what his young daugthers see (and possibly internalize), I give him props.

I'm not sure I follow your question here. But I believe Rock's children are only 4 and 2. I can understand why he wouldn't want his TODDLER children being exposed to how bootilicious Beyonce can (mostly pretend) to be. When they're older, maybe Beyonce will be age-appropriate for them.
