Sheriff: Student murdered, burned on patio grill

HOUSTON, Texas (AP) -- A 19-year-old Texas A&M University student was killed by her ex-boyfriend, who then dismembered and burned her body on a patio grill, authorities said Saturday.
Investigators say Timothy Wayne Shepherd, 27, confessed Wednesday to strangling Tynesha Stewart because he was angry she had begun a new relationship. Shepherd, who is charged with murder, is being held on $250,000 bond.
"We have determined through this investigation that the defendant dismembered Tynesha Stewart and . . . he burned the body parts," Harris County Sheriff Tommy Thomas said. "There are no remaining body parts."

Timothy Wayne Shepherd’s aunt said she thinks her nephew “just exploded” because he had not dealt with the death of his father and then murdered his ex-girlfriend.

Shepherd faces a murder charge for killing 19-year-old Texas A&M student Tynesha Stewart, then dismembering her body and burning her remains on his patio grill.
Timothy Wayne Shepherd returned to court Monday morning for a brief appearance. But this time, he had family in the audience. His grandmother, Shirley Shepherd sat in the fourth row of the 183rd District Court with her pastor, Tommie C. Phillips. She wept when he first walked in to court wearing a yellow jumpsuit. That color signifies he is on suicide watch.
Outside court, Janice Shepherd explained that Timothy was always good growing up but had difficulty getting along with his mother in his teenage years after discovering his stepfather was not his biological father. Janice Shepherd said Timothy’s father, Robert Miller Shepherd, died in a motorcycle accident in 1979 when his son was an infant.

Stewart disappeared March 15. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said Shepherd confessed to strangling her with his hands. Investigators say he then dismembered her body in his apartment and burned her remains in two grills on his second floor balcony.
Saturday, Harris County Sheriff Tommy Thomas said nothing remains of the 19-year-old’s body.

What's really gross is a neighbor did call the fire department, when he/she saw smoke billowing from the Shepherd's patio. The firemen asked to come in and look around. There were chunks of flesh on the counter and in the bathtub. Shepherd told the authorities that he had everything under control and that the "meat" was chicken. Obviously it was Tynesha's remains. |

Yes, it's real.
I think the "Wayne" is actually a kind of extremely evil spirit that haunts whomever gets it as his middle name; the name itself is cursed. |

She tried to leave the •••••• probably because she knew his ass was crazy and he went and did this shit. i saw that on the news too, i thought it was going to be a white person who had done that. imagine if he seasoned her and laced her w/ some bar b-que sauce. invited you over and you found out that you had eaten some of her. that would be so sick, but what would be even be sicker is if it where the best meat that you ever had in your life.
