ABM, seeing as this is a sorority, then I would guess, no. But they are more than welcome to start their own fatherhood fraternity.
Mzuri, I agree. I know how much motherhood has been a challenge to my own educational path. These young women are clearly highly motivated to move forward in their lives--the very type of young people we encourage others to be. I think it is wonderful that they are empowering themselves in this way. |

I recently saw somewhere some gay guys started a chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha SORORITY.
So if they can be in a sorority, why can't babydaddys? |

I pledged in 76 and I appreciate my Sorors for not holding the fact I had a child "against" me. It's what you bring to the orgnaization as a person. ::glaring at Abm::: whose opinion I USUALLY value..

LiLi - No one except another women who has raised children can know what a major feat it is to take care of a child everyday and accomplish anything else worthwhile, especially getting a college education - since that requires so much focus and concentration.
