Honestly. The more I look at those pictures, the more I realize that the TRUE issue here is that White foks are so bereft of color, personality and, in many respects...genuine BEAUTY that they've got to boost it from Black foks.
And, when you think about, that's been what the caricuturization of Black foks has always REALLY been about. |

Materialism is not specific in its manifestation, chrishayden, just so long as it is expensive and confirms and enhances one's status among ones peers. There is "ghetto bling" and there is "bourgeois elegance". What you described is the materialism of homeboys who spend a great deal of money to sport the garb befitting gangstas or playas. |
