HOLLYWOOD oil heir Brandon Davis just poured gasoline on the Paris Hilton N -word furor, claiming that Hilton regularly uses the racial slur as well as slurs against other minorities.
Davis, an old friend of Hilton who had a falling out with her this year, came forward after it was reported that Hilton used the N-word in a scene caught on videotape. Hilton later issued a statement saying, "Anyone who knows me knows that this is not me. I love everybody and am not a person who discriminates against anyone - ever."
But Davis tells this week's National Enquirer: "Not true. She was forever using the ' N-word. ' I told her not to use it. It was offensive. But she just laughed. She is a racist, plus an idiot. Every black person she referred to was a 'n- - - - -.' "
Davis, the grandson of recently deceased oil billionaire and movie mogul Marvin Davis and boyfriend of "O.C." starlet Mischa Barton, continued, "She uses the word all the time, and I've known her all of her life. It's 'n- - - - - this' and 'n- - - - - that.' She's a disgrace. She is a racist!
"She puts down Jews and other minorities, too. And I'm Jewish. I found it depressing . . . I finally had enough of her attitude six months ago, and I finished with her. I don't want anything to do with her. I don't need anything from her. She is no longer my friend. She's just not a nice person."
Davis said that he never heard Hilton use racist language around her best friend and "Simple Life" co-star Nicole Richie, who is black. "I know Nicole," Davis said. "She is a very good person."
Hilton's publicist said the hotel heiress was on a plane yesterday and could not be reached. We also left a detailed message for Richie's rep to see if Nicole wanted to defend her friend against Davis' charges, but we didn't hear back.
Meanwhile, "diversity promoter" Asa Khalif, president of the Philadelphia-based Racial Unity USA, says his group is considering boycotting all things Paris Hilton.
"Once we receive a copy of the tape, we will move from there," Khalif said in a press release yesterday.
"Racial Unity USA has not ruled out protests and boycotts once Hilton's alleged comments are confirmed on tape. Racial Unity USA will stand up against anyone who promotes hate and divisiveness, even if that anyone is Paris Hilton. "

This article is old, but the issue never got much press.
There is recent footage of her using the n-word yet again, but from the looks of it she won't suffer any consequences for saying it. |

Probably not. But what do you want to happen to her? I find her usage of the word to be disgusting. But I find it equally disgusting to see blacks to use it with impunity and without blinking an eye. I make no distinction between her using it or Mike Epps relentlessly using in on Def Jam Comedy. I detest the word. But I know there are Negroes who will criticize me for criticizing blacks for calling each other a term whites created to degrade and dehumanize black people. So, I'm done.......

The wide-spread usage of the N-Word will go down as hip-hop's only significant contribution to American society (PRETTY SAD HUH). This Geenie will never be put back in the bottle, NEVER.
As for the "Scarecrow" (Ms. Hilton), if you want to make her an even bigger star, tell all of white america that blacks are going to protest her or boycott her. I wish all of these so-called civil rights activist would stop that boycott non-sense. It doesn't work anymore, period. The Jesse Jackson call for a boycott of the latest Seinfeld DVD backfired big-time, and the sales ended up being much bigger than anticipated. White people use to just tune out black calls for a boycott, but now-a-days they go out of their way to purchase an item. I don't know any black people who pay attention to Paris Hilton anyway, so what the hell would anyone boycott? Her new CD? On second thought, maybe white folks would be down with a boycott.
It's a moot point anyway because this article is old, and it got zero press. |

I don't condone her using the n-word but I admire Paris Hilton a great deal. She puts both "c"'s in "cool and confident," girlfriend is laid back and she know she's hot, lol. She has guts. She has style. She has A TON of charisma. And, one of the things I admire most, she seems like leader... not a follower at all. Those are some damn good characteristics to have! ...& at such a young age! |

As to Paris Hilton, she is living proof that all the money in the world can't buy elegance, class or brains - all of which she is sorely lacking. aghast...this mess again. so what...what yaw niccas care anyways...here's my 2 cents...dont say it around people too young to understand the usages of the word...don't use it around ol' folk, like ABM and Cynique[lol], who were around during the middle passage and may have very personal experiences w/ racism and jim crow AND the word. Otherwise, among ya cohorts, your peoples who know the nuances of the word...get ya racial slur on.... |

Yukio, I believe that's a part of it. But it's more so because she knows how to market her greatest asset--her vain personality--that makes her who she is. Ever see her on the runway/red carpet? ALLLL attitude and charisma and, yes, arrogance and aloofness...and she flaunts it ALLLL. She certainly isn't the most attractive woman out there; nevertheless, her personality draws people into a world of dominance, vanity and privilege; and THIS, my friend, is why she's soo famous (despite her obvious lack of talent). Cuz if arrogance & wealth were all it takes, there would be hundreds of Paris Hilton's--but Paris sells hauteur and vainglory really well, she's brilliant in that respect, that's why there's only one. |

it might be news for some but the VAST majority of white people either think that black people are n-ggers, or use the word flat out.
its just that in this (alleged) p.c. world we live in, many whites have had to "bite thier tounges", and not use the "n-word" (i hate saying "the n-word, its just so dam stupid).
its no big deal for to me that paris hilton did (or did not) use the "n-word".
because thats what most whites think anyway.
as far as black people using that word, im a bit torn.
i kind of cringe when i hear our people using this word in public (on the streets etc).
but at the same time, its a word that was used to de-humanize our people that we have taken and put to use (im not saying in a necessarily good way), for us.
when we are amongst our selves, i feel we have that right to us this word.
when im around family or friends and we are b.s.-ing with one another, the "n-word" is used all the time. but i feel we can do this.
im sure some will say "why is it ok for black people to use that word, and not whites"?
well, ive heard italians call each othe "guinea's" MANY times.
ive heard jews refer to each other as "yids".
an so on and so forth.
i admit that the "n-word" is not the most positive word out there.
but like it or not, BLACK PEOPLE use this word.
when we are amongst ourselves or "talking shop" with each other, we use this word.
its just become a part of our (black people's) lingo. like it or not.
hey, id screw paris hilton's HEAD OFF.
n-word or no n-word.

Paris H. is on the map because of her family name, her reality show (yawn), and her sex tape (double-yawn). She's benefited from the modern day celebrity trifecta. We've seen famous names garner celebrity status (Ivanka Trump), we've seen reality shows create celebrity status (Elisabeth Hassleback from the 'View', Amarosa, New York, and on and on), and we've seen sex tapes put has beens back on the map (Tommie Lee and even Screech).
I'd say the celebrity trifecta I just listed has more to do with her stardom than attitude, charisma, and arrogance. Paris is a product of fortune & timing, just like George W. Bush was. Karl Rove once said about George W.: "I could make him President." (instead of: "George W. would make a good President). So we ended up with a well-packaged fraud. Paris Hilton deserves credit for cashing in on her good-fortune (i.e., fortune & timing), but actually she's just a well-packaged fraud, like our Commander-and-Thief. |

Puleeze, Yukio, I ain't never had a problem with niggas calling each other nigga. And I've always argued that the visceral black reaction to the use of the word "n i g g e r" serves to empower it. And why the stir about Paris using a racial slur? She ain't no different from anybody else. Hardly a day goes by on this board that reference isn't made to "crackas" and "peckerwoods" and "white trash". Paris Hilton is an airhead whose only claim to fame is that she is the quintesscential party girl. She can barely utter a coherent sentence but she has figured out that she is marketable commodity. She is the great grand daughter of hotel mogel Conrad Hilton and her side of the family is not as rich as rumored to be, according to inside sources, which may be why she is in the business of accumulating her own fortune. I also just recently read that Paris can't keep a boyfriend because she doesn't really like sex and just wants to cuddle. Earlier I remember reading that Paris' inbred sense of entitlement led her to believe that she didn't need to finish high school but she finally did end up getting her GED. |

Who said Paris wasn't a celebrity before the video tapes came out? She and her sister Nicky were regulars on the Hollywood party circuit before the tapes. And sex tapes, in and of themselves, no matter who they're of, are an object of curiosity if they're available to be watched.

Paris and the media have played up the "rich heiress title" angle because it makes good copy but her immediate family is not among America's richest families. I'm no even sure if Conrad Hilton's heirs hold the controlling interest in the Hilton Hotel chain any more. In fact, I think another company brought the group out but kept the Hilton name. Yes, Paris is blond, and America seems to love bimbos like her. |

FYI: The Conrad Hilton Hotel in Chicago was sold to another company but retained the Hilton name. But the parent company which, incidentally, is not a Fortune 500 company retained its other holdings. Paris, along with her 3 siblings and her parents, cousins and aunts and uncles and cousins are heirs to the Hilton fortune. And does anybody care??? |

She got called on it. I don't know what else you can do. She ain't got no job and she's rich. She don't hang out in the hood. she ain't got a tv show or anything you can boycott.
I suppose you could call for a boycott of her familiy's hotels if she keeps it up or call the sponsors of any show she is on.

As usual, chrishayden is behind the times. Paris Hilton does have a TV show. "The Simple Life" is one of the main things that have contributed to her fame, along with her "House of Wax" movie that made money, and her record album that tanked. |

The main reason there's been little attention paid to this supposed transgression is that it's mainly an accusation. It's not a recorded incident like Michael Richards (Kramer) or George Allen's 'Macaca' moment.
I think there would've been more media attention if it was on tape or if her race-nuetral, flunky-anorexic-ex-best friend, would come forward and corroborate the accusations. If Karen Carpenter, WOOPS!!!, Nicole Richie would come forward I think these accusations would've gotten some traction. The media would've been able to hype the incident by mixing race into their on-going cat fight.
