why are so many africans (atleast on this board) so concerned with the goings on in black american culture?
why the hell are there africans on this board who are actually speaking to black americans, as if they know something we don't or have something to teach us?
it kills me whenever i see or hear one of these ugly africans who come from the MOST primative cultures on the planet, act as if they bearers of some type of truth.
where does some african get off trying to dictate to black americans how we should view ourselves. why are these africans even concerned with what is going on amongst our people, in a culture that is our own?
its almost as if some of these africans have a fascination with black americans. they feel a need to try to interject themselves into the culture of black americans.
i personally feel its EXTREME jealousy, that fuels the africans drive to pontificate and ruminate about the goings on in the lives of black americans.
what is the true explaination as to why these "proud africans" are constantly giving their opinions (atleast on this board, and some others) about a people (black americans), they have NOTHING to do with?
why aren't these proud africans focusing on forums that deal with the goings on of africans?
im kind of sick of listening to these africans give their opinion regarding anything that has to do with our people.
who the hell are they to say a word about us?

Africans need to worry about their Damn selves for a change.
I could'nt care less what any Nigerian has to say,about American blacks.
Anybody who's been to Nigeria will tell you,
that American Blacks ARE MUCH BETTER OFF.
The average Nigerian does'nt have a pot to piss in.
If I was from a country as poor and back wards as Nigeria, I would be Embarrassed. A Lot of Africans are Very insecure, especially the females,
a lot of them have low self esteem.
I work with a woman from South Africa,
She does Not Want to be AFRICAN.
Some times she will admit that she is African,
But MOST of the time she will lie and say she is from Jamaica.
She admit's that she is ashamed to be from Africa because of the RAPE problem and AIDS epidemic over there.
Many of the men over there think that raping a Virgin will cure them of AIDS.
My mother told me about a six month old baby girl who was raped by a man in South Africa.
Essence magazine did a story about it. Very Sad
There Was a news report where It was estimated that Half of all South African women will be raped and even gang raped in their life time. |

When you let someone in your head it's their choice when they want to leave. I'm not sure why you have set aside the time to start this post if our opinions sincerely don't matter to you (plural).
As far as the purpose of this board I am an authentic African-American ....a West African living in America. It seems that this board was named for those like me in mind. |

Think about it,
This board was started by a American black man.
The board was NOT started by a West African.
If West Africans hate or are jealous of American blacks,
they should START THEIR OWN BOARDS. |

The AMERICAN black man who started this board is an African.
I'm his sister.
He wants Africans here.
I notice it's the YELLOW Black Americans who mostly can't cotton to the Africans, and that's to be expected being as you all aren't really black people anymore.

Eastwest, don't act brand new. Babies in THIS country get raped, too. A baby was raped and killed in MISSISSIPPI just last year by her grandfather.
BLACK AMERICANS don't want to be Black.....call my sister (who calls herself MIXED IMO only because she can't pass for white) BLACK to her face and you just might get sliced. (Of course, both American Blacks and South African Blacks were ruled by whites who hated blacks, I'm sure that has something to do with the mentality). |

I agree. I was born here in the US and I'm a US citizen. My parents were born in Nigeria and came here when my dad was invited here in 1960s to teach at a university. I'm an African American in the realest sense of the word. |
