after watching oprah winfrey open this school in south africa for girls, i couldn't help but think, "do boys even matter in the world of oprah winfrey"?
i suppose that the BOYS of south africa can watch the precious special girls of south africa go to a private school, while they are on their way to a trash heap to huff paint.
its VERY clear that this fat LESBIAN (imo) oprah winfrey HATES MEN.
what about a private school for boys?
but i suppose that BOYS don't need a private school, because well........ BOYS DON'T MATTER!
right oprah?
and of course i understand that people can do what they want with their money.
but its interesting that a person who is portrayed as somekind of mammoth humanitarian, is really nothing more than a male loathing LESBIAN, wolf in sheeps' clothing. |

Educated African males take their intellectual credentials and LEAVE Africa for the West. African females are more likely to use what they've learned and stay or return to Africa to BUILD. THEY are the intellectual resource that Oprah is smartly investing in... Self-centered black male fools are a bad investment. |

well, jackie actually i DON'T really give a dam about the africans.
the focus of my post was not so much on whether or not the boys of south africa can go to a private school or not, but was rather a general observation about this fat LESBIAN named oprah winfrey, and her utter CONTEMPT for ALL males.
anytime i see males (of any nation) being pushed aside or marginalized (especially by a man hating DYKE), i feel the need to say something about it.
but you are correct in asking me what do i care about africans anyway.
because actually i couldn't care less about less about the africans.
but oprah winfrey's overt contempt for males, is just disturbing. |

Oprah has made sizeable contributions to male HBCUs. Black men will always find something to bitch about when it comes to Oprah.
Why don't you ask your "heroes" like P. Diddy, Jay Z, Damon Dash or 50 Cent to get together and build schools for African boys. Together they should have twice the net worth of Lady "O". If you hate her so much, why expect her to come to your damned rescue? |

Kola Boof and I were just saying asking the same question yesterday. "What do rich, famous black men ever do for little black girls?"
And though I'm not black my ex-husband is so I can relate to what you and Kola are saying.
Btw I've met Oprah and she's a jewel. It felt like meeting the queen.

Not all Black men have a problem with Oprah specifically focusing her resources and energies on assisting Black females. I, as a husband and father of Black women, greatly appreciate her efforts to help other sistas.

Abm, I KNOW you know Kola Boof Haha, Yes.
And Kola was saying how black females both in Africa and in the U.S. are the most "under-developed" people in the societies.
There was also a very powerful article by Thulani Davis published in VILLAGE VOICE about three years ago documenting the relative "disinterest" that most Black Activism and Special Interest Groups have in little black girls, it's practically nil as there is a tendancy to "save black boys", when in reality, black culture is Hyper-masculine oriented from music to films to everything else. Only as book subjects do black women have a voice and a place to insert their identity. So this is why I agree with Kola that Oprah and other blacks could better serve the black community by developing those who return the most to it--black women.

Oprah gives MILLIONS to Morehouse. During a one month period, she had given money twice.
I would think that would qualify as helping men. But as usual, men aren't happy unless they're getting it ALL.
KOLA, the bookstore where you will be is within walking distance of Morehouse and Spelman if you wish to visit there. |
