Aside from the DC sniper, there seem few or even none. There are dozens of white dudes who sadistically abduct, sexually assault and murder lots of people. Ted Bundy. Ed Gacy. And on and on.
Black people are so demonized and if we are so terrible and criminally-minded, how come our people aren't going around abducting women and children and torturing and murdering (even eating) them for some vile dark sexual purpose? |

It is much harder for a black man to get away with that sort of thing. A Negro trembles with fear at the thought of pulling some infamous crimes. That he does is most often the result of him losing control through alchohol, drugs, or anger.
Think about your average serial killer. Your Gacy. Your Ted Bundy. Your Dahmer. Your Berkowitz.
They are straight laced, straight looking, quiet, keep to yourself white guys. Nobody suspects them of anything. They generally only get caught after slipping up.
Everybody suspects Negroes of everything all the time. A well dressed Negro cannot even go into a mall without getting followed. Plus that, Negroes will snitch on another negro in a minute. If some bodies start turning up, or a nasty smell starts coming from the apartment, the other negroes are dropping dime on them in a minute.
Also, up until now, the social controls are such on Negroes that they will not think of trying to get away with doing a string of killings. Most black on black killings involve a personal beef, however small or silly.
But, times are changing. I suspect as Negroes start moving up, becoming more common,keeping to themselves, they'll start doing it--they'll be killing almost all blacks, though. |

Negroes snitch each other out for a number of reasons.
One it has become imprinted on our DNA, since this was how you survived during slavery.
Two Negroes hate each other and can't wait to cut each other down.
Three very often they have a case themselves and need to give somebody up to the man so they can stay on the street.
There are probably others--some think it is the right thing to do--sometimes it actually IS the right thing to do but other racial groups still don't do it. |

There are many more White foks in this country than there are Black ones. So even if the potential to be a serial killer is fairly even amongst the races, instances of serial killing will be much more manifest amongst Whites than Blacks.
Also, it's entirely possible that there are more serial killers and killings amongst Blacks than we know, recognize or admit to. Perhaps, like so many other things that go wrong amongst Black foks, very little attention is brought to what's going down. |

I tend to doubt it. Serial killers tend to kill the same kind of victim under the same kind of circumstances and this comes to the attention of the police fairly quickly |

Chris,
Here in Chicago, we recently had an incident where a young Black dude who worked for a cable company raped and killed a White chick. Soon there after, it was revealed he's apparently done the same thing to a Black woman just a couple of months prior.
The cops even interviewed the dude after the Black woman had been killed and even informed his employer that they were suspicious of the guy. But at the time, they didn't have anything to hold him on.
So they let him go.
Worse, for some reason that no one can explain (Other than, of course, because the victim was Black.), it took MONTHS for some DNA lab to complete and forward the results of testing that would have proven that dude had raped & killed the Black woman and prevented the murder of the White woman.
Some time before what happened above, this SAME dude's the ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend were also found found dead. Dude was interviewed by the cops. But they didn't have anything to hold him on.
So they let him go.
And, btw, the cable company hired him because he had NO prior criminal record and *sigh* he was considered by general accounts to be a nice, decent guy. |

It sounds to me like you are tired. This is a long way from killing 30 young boys and hiding them on your property--

The DNA matched. Yeah. There hasn't been a trial done. But, come on, Chris.
Mofo is associated with four murders, 2 which they can trace to his having had direct, physical contact with the victims. And the other 2 which he motive out the ying-yang.

The reason white men are more likely to be serial killers has to do with having alot of money and living in america....according to stats most serial killers are white and upper-middle class to rich.
so it has alot to do with status and one feeling as if they own the world as well as a feeling of lonliness.....people wiht more money are more likely to suffer from feelings lonliness and seclusion because they ahve less people to lean on for their problems.....at least thats what cultural and social psychologists say. |

hmmm...this is interesting because gangs kill strings of people all the time.....but still its not because of any perverted fantasy...its usually over some kind of silly personal beef or the fact that the other gang wears read and one wears blue. |

There are plenty of black serial rapists out there. After committing their first offense, it's like raping a woman becomes addictive and they keep on doing it until they get caught. So some say. |

well wouldn't that mean most gangbangers and dopeboys are serial killers? i don't think black people snitch one another out as much as you think, they sorta' handle the business by themselves because of lack of trust pertaining to the cops. i think the answer to that question is simply black people just really lack that gene for the most part. even with the dc sniper it wasn't like he was stabbing the people and then dumping the bodies in rivers or hiding them in basements, he did it from a distant and i'm quite sure other serial killers would say that, that was just pure laziness ... the dc sniper didn't even eat or rape his victims ... when he meets them in hell they won't even give him serial killer credit (better than street cred when your in hell) so he'll just think he wasted his time. |

Anyway, I agree w/others that (so far) it is a matter of (a) population differences, (b) opportunity, (c) there likely being Black serial killers whose victims do not get classified as such, and (d) what crimes we choose to define as being the result of "serial killing." It could also be that the type of childhood and adolescent profiles of that kind of psychopathology present differently for Black men than for White men. |
