Has anyone read this book? I don't even know if it's the right title, someone suggested I read it. You know, they always say "It's real good" Lol. |

Read it, loved it! It's the wonderful story of a mother coming to grips with her daughter's mental illness. The correct title is 72 Hour Hold. The book is an accurate, poignant journey through the maze of "the system" and what we face as African Americans in relation to mental illness: The denial, the support systems, the hopes dashed, the sun that shines after the storm in spite of the strength seeped out of our loved ones.
