Well, thanks to Mahogany (where the hell is she!) LOL....I may be signing with a new agent tomorrow.
There's some minor stuff to work out, but at this moment, it looks like a "GO".
And I really like him.
ALSO....I just saw the VIDEO documentary about me, "Kola Boof: Nile River Woman"----and I'm assuming that they will have that posted online by next week (earlier than July 1st).
It's an hour long and I can't wait for you guys to see it. It's pretty good.

I wish you the best of everything.
Where the hell am I?
1. Back in the 'Burgh after 8 days in Florida visiting my mother who has breast cancer. She had a radical mastectomy a year ago, the prognosis is not good and she is planning to retire early. I'm handling her legal affairs.
2. Living in front my laptop. On deadline (2 reviews, 2 interviews, all due Monday, at the latest).
3. In spite of #2, still planning to go out tomorrow night with the girls to a new spot in town for the grown and sexy, so as to recover from #1.
4. Got 2 corporate clients for my side writing biz. Ka-ching. ("Sleep? I don't need no stinkin' sleep.")
5. Falling really, really hard for a really good man. Scaring me to death.

Mahogany. God bless your mother. I wish her all the best,and pray that God navigates you in how to deal with the process. It won't be easy, but you will come out stronger.

Hope I didn't jump the gun on announcing this about Nicholas---but he was REALLY impressed with the first chapters of "The Sexy Part of the Bible" and he loved "Flesh and the Devil" and we had a nice long, very easy going phone conversation--chatting as though we've known each other for years---and his youth, hunger and success rate with his other clients, especially Cora Daniels (whose book I loved) make me have a lot of faith in him. If we can agree on a "final" REP Contract tomorrow---then it's done.
But I am VERY excited and really think he's just what my career needs.
Big Break:
Also just found out that a SUPER MAJOR newspaper is going to review "Flesh"----because of a very famous American writer who wrote a letter on my behalf. Of course, it will take about 3 months to be published--but a major book review just as I'm arriving in New York City would be the exact Credential that I need. Stay tuned.
Again--will be praying for your mom.

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!!!
Nicholas Roman Lewis and I are working together as Agent and Author!!!
He's wonderful. He LOOOOOVES my novel "The Sexy Part of the Bible" (the literary novel, not the Pop novel) and we're going dead-on with that one starting in September when I turn in the final version of it.
