Not so happy in L.A. There’s a huge rumor that Hispanic students will be targeting Black students, especially the boys at some of the schools today. In the last couple of months there has been some serious race squabbling at some of the high schools. The underlying rumor for all this is that one of the Black gangs highjacked a big load of cocaine from the Mexican Mafia [who really run the drugs and guns in the city] so the MM put the word out to target black males. Folks are keeping their kids home from school and it’s on all the news reports. Sad. | ||

The fact of the matter is that these high school students(Latino and Black) and some junior high especially in Lynwood fight all the time on Martin Luther King's Birthday Celebration and Cinco De Mayo. It's not new news just being covered more...yes it is sad. | ||

Well, the shit started. When I was driving my oldest son to school this morning, a bunch of Mexican sharecroppers were screaming "niggers go home" at me and the boys as we came over the bridge and past the orchards. Then when my youngest son and I were leaving the school, some white women in the parking lot were saying that two black boys at the high school had been jumped by a group of Mexican students and had all their clothes pulled off and were videotaped running down the street naked. I'm sure things will be back to normal tomorrow. You're right, Jackie. It's so NORMAL now. | ||

BTW-- I am making a Mexican feast today for Cinco de Mayo. My Black American girlfriend is married to a Mexican and they're bringing more Mexicans and we're having burritos, taco salad, Chicken Quesidillas (for me), jalepeno pie and a pitcher of "kiddy" Sangria. | ||

Wow Kola I'm sorry you and your boys had to go through that mess. Yes, unfortunately you're right Jackie, it's been going on "quietly" for years now but I think it's escalating. We'll see what happens when the Hispanic man wins the mayor's race - cause I think he is going to. He even has Maxine Water's endorsement now. But plenty of black folks are afraid L.A. will be annexed by Mexico if he wins. | ||

Thanks Crystal and Mahogany. Yes, Crystal. The Mexican MAYOR is coming for sure. As for the "niggers go home" slur, it really doesn't bother me---I cuss Mexicans out ALL THE TIME (almost as much as I cuss the Caucasoids and these Bi-racial "Dalmations" out). I talk to my sons in Arabic in the store while Mexicans are talking in Spanish---or when I don't want WHITES to know what I'm saying, I speak to my sons in Arabic---it fucking pisses them OFF.  When KOREANS and WHITES give me my "change" back after a purchase----I make them put my money on the counter FIRST----THEN I pick it up. It's a psychological trick. Or if they're handing "change" to my sons----I blithely whisper, "Don't let his hand touch yours, darling" in Arabic and my boy politely asks---"Sir, could you please put the money down first?" Then my child picks it up-----and I smile very warmly and friendly and say in English, "THANK YOU SO MUCH....We're not from around here." So don't feel sorry for me. I'm such a BITCH towards these people for what they did to the Black Americans, my bloodberry. BUT....I am "VERY NICE" to those who are nice and friendly towards me. I bake them things and send them fresh fruit and chat with the ones (usually Black Americans) who are friendly towards me. _________________ And the BLACKS really have no presence in California anymore----the interracial boom destroyed the black community and scattered it----black TEEN BOYS here do not EVER date black girls-----so now the black women left the state, the black men THINK they're white men and act accordingly........the population of blacks here is now 6% (down from 18% 15 years ago). As I mentioned, my "yellow" Black American girlfriend (who of course couldn't find a black man here) married a MEXICAN and as much as I love her---her alliances are to her husband's people. She acts like SHE'S a goddamned Mexican. But I love her. So what the Black American ancestors worked so hard for in the West......is falling apart. There's no trace anymore of the Black Americans who came WEST and struggled so hard to make their mark. Even the landmark city of "WATTS" is now Latino-Majority with very few blacks!!!  This state is now 60% MEXICAN. Everything here is now written in Spanish, MANY jobs require that you are bilingual. ____________  I applaud the Latinos for their unity and their "nationalist" spirit. In just 20 SHORT YEARS---they came over the border, not even speaking English and took over America's most Wealthy state. They really have redeemed their ancestors for the THE ALAMO and for losing the state of California in the first place. | ||

Cynique - I am constantly amazed at the amount of mistrust and even hatred black folks have for “meskins” around here. They would much rather trust a white man over a brown one. Kola - you're right. There is no longer a "black community" in SoCal. The brown folks were here before - got kicked out - and now are back and taking back what they lost. No point in getting mad, it's an historical thing. | ||

The San Fernando Valley was once a thriving middle class community of blacks and, yes, whites. Folks seemed to get along, despite racial tensions. These days, you're lucky to see a homeless black man walking the streets. The Valley is now 98% Hispanic and a much more dangerous place to live. | ||
