Jenny, I am conflicted on this one. Admittedly, an African American section can appear to be a form of literary segregation, which might unfairly and inaccurately reflect upon the quality of Black writing in those stores. Having a separate classification, however, sure does make it easier to find AA books in those voluminous mega bookstores. Doesn't it? |

Well, Miss Jennifer, wonder if the fact that you misspelled the word "separate" reveals something about your subconscious feelings on this subject. LOL. Me, I have no problem with black books having their own domain. It's all about convenience. Later for being politically correct. |
