On a couple of other web discussion groups I visit they have been going on about this Omarosa. I thought it was a wrestler or something but turns out it was this black woman on this Donald Trump reality show ("reality tv show" surely an oxymoron) "The Apprentice". I never watch this drivel but apparently the goal was to get hired or something by Trump and apparently she got fired and people are going on about how it was good or bad--

Surprisingly a lot of sisters are really on her case.

Anybody watch this? Whatcall think?

Hey Chris,

I must admit, I have become a Reality Show addict. I watch them all, or at least all that I can fit in during a week...and I tell you that's a lot. So, I did catch quite a few episodes of The Apprentice, and Omarosa at work, or not at all as some would believe. Okay, as usual I was pulling for the black guy and girl, but some other hotheads had it out for Omarosa a couple of shows back saying she was lazy, didn't do her part, always complained of a headache (for Heavens Sake! I believe the girl got hit in the head or something!!) Anyway I can see how this can be controversial, just by the statements made on her behalf...and so as a result or probably having nothing to do with it, a certain team lost the competition and if you lose, somebodys got to go, in this particular episode it was not Omarosa, but the leader of the project. I missed the episode where she got axed, but I gotta say, they (the rest of the crew of women mostly) had it out for her and it was only a matter of 30 second commercials that she would be eliminated.

I'm not a regular viewer of "the Apprentice" but I did happen to catch the episode in which Omerosa got fired, and, as why my impression of her from the beginning, she came across as a manipulative, malingering, paranoid bitch. She has also impresssed me as being every black man's nightmare because she had a serious princess complex. But having said that, I would add that the white women on the show were just as obnoxious, but for other reasons. At least they didn't continue to play the race card, the way Omarosa did.

Chris...,
I watched the show when Omarosa was fired, and a few before she was. A lot of people (or should I say white women and some black men)are intimidated by a woman of color who isn't afraid to back down and speak her mind. Who believes in what she believes and don't care what anyone else has to say. If Omarosa would have kept that demeanor on the day she got fired I don't believe she would have. She let her guard down, stop believing in herself and started crying. On that particular show Omarosa was the only one who made a sell for her team and she should have used that to save herself instead of breaking down because she wasn't sent back to her room, Troy was. She had been in the boardroom before and because of her strength she wasn't fired, but she lost it on this episode and therefore she lost out on everything.

I'm a black woman and I wouldn't have been the least bit intimidated by Omarosa because I could see right through her facade. To me, she was an insecure, unstable prima dona with poor people skills. I also thought that all that crying and carrying on she did on her last appearance was a put on, her way of trying to manipulate people. Yes, she was shrewd but no more so than any of her antagonists.

Why are we most times so quick to defend a blk female who behave like a bi%&h or an ass in business situations. We always pull out the strong black woman cape. There are a certain set of acceptable behaviors in business and blk women should not be excused from these. There are ways to be confident, stand your ground, excel and still win friends and influence people. That's what business is all about and like everything else it's not all about what you know. There are some skills that the business degree from Harvard you wear sticking out your ass does not come with.

I never joke. Your descriptions: "unstable prima donna with poor people skills" "malingering, manipulating paranoid bitch" are traits I have always found irresistble in a woman!!!!!!

OK, Chris, I keep hearing this term. Just what are "digits"? I thought this expression was a slang term for someone's phone number.

following being fired. She accused one of those hate-filled, brash, obnoxious white girls of calling her the "N" word. I having never seen the woman in action mind you, got the impression she might have been exaggerating to stick it to them. Anyway, the following day the white girl in question came on 'The View' to refute it, and hearing her talk I could see where Omarosa would want to stick it to her. However, Trump says it didn't happen as well and as said, I got the impression that Omarosa was just sticking it to the white girl.

I've now watched one episode and it is interesting. I tell ya, I think this reality TV is doing a lot to unite people. The black guy seems charming. And to think, this multicultural workforce is shown solely because courageous blacks had the wherewithal to stand up to white America and break it's demonic stronghold. I think we should never forget to mention that fact. Niether should 'all' people of color forget to honor that fact.

ABOVE TYPO: (Computer jammed) First line should read....'I'd never watched the show but I saw Omarosa on the program 'The View' the day after she was fired.'
