Hear are some of the rumors, conversations and innuendos I heard in line, while voting...

"Bush is stupid! A puppet! Terrible in the Debates!"

"Kerry did very well in the debates."

"Laura Bush is pretty and the perfect first lady."

"Theresa Heinz, got spunk, personality...like Hillary her own woman."

"Remember how they stole the last election...they bet not try that this time...with all these homeboys voting, Pookienem ain't having it."

"I miss Bill Clinton!"

"Why won't Steadman marry Oprah?"

"Did you hear about Star Jones fiance?"

"Colin Powell says he's voting democractic."

"Hillary should run for president."

"Women would make better presidents. Hell we've been running things anyway."

"Star's man did what!"

"You know, Oprah broke up Gail's marriage."

"I just can't understand why we won't use our own people, designers, fitness trainers, etc...why we always got to use one of theirs..."

"I drank some Crunk, last night around 8pm, and couldn't get back to sleep."

"Crunk, what's crunk?"

"A energy drink, like Red Bull, but made by that rapper Lil John and I had not one, but two bm's. Ima have to get me a case of that."

Okay, now, share yours. Happy Voting Day!

"Bush is stupid! A puppet! Terrible in the Debates!"
>Plus he's got that dumb smirk.

"Kerry did very well in the debates."
>Bush would make the retarded appear like geniuses.

"Laura Bush is pretty and the perfect first lady."
>Isn't it amazing what they can do with mannequins?

"Theresa Heinz, got spunk, personality...like Hillary her own woman."
>Plus she'd be the first "African American" First Lady.

"Remember how they stole the last election...they bet not try that this time...with all these homeboys voting, Pookienem ain't having it."
>JEEZ! Just shutup and vote already. The rest of us have to go to work!

"I miss Bill Clinton!"
<Let it go!

"Why won't Steadman marry Oprah?"
(See the above!)

"Did you hear about Star Jones fiance?"
>Who ELSE would marry her?

"Colin Powell says he's voting democractic."
>You helped make your pissy bed, now wallow in it.

"Hillary should run for president."
>Not them again!

"Women would make better presidents. Hell we've been running things anyway."
>If that is true, why are things so f@#$ed up?

"Star's man did what!"
>What most guys who marry rich/homely women do.

"You know, Oprah broke up Gail's marriage."
>Which also explains why O and Stedman aren't married.

"I just can't understand why we won't use our own people, designers, fitness trainers, etc...why we always got to use one of theirs..."
>Cause Ree-Ree an' dem be trippin'.

"I drank some Crunk, last night around 8pm, and couldn't get back to sleep."
>Aight! But couldn't you have at least taken a bath? PEEE-YUUU!!

"Crunk, what's crunk?"
>Young neegrow equivalent of "excited".

"A energy drink, like Red Bull, but made by that rapper Lil John and I had not one, but two bm's. Ima have to get me a case of that."
>Some foks just WANT to experience an emergency stomach pumping.

hahaha A_womon LMAO!

Tell me, how do they call the race in certain states, when people are still voting. Yes, the polls have closed, but people in line are still voting.....????? doesn't seem fair. This happened to me last year, while we were in line around 9pm still voting, they called the state for Bush. What's up with that?

Yeah, Rookie, it's dumb-assed Bush clones like you who put your thick-skulled leader back into office because, like him, you are unable to think for yourselves. So just scurry on over there with the rest of the sheep and hide from Saddam Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction. Stick close together so you won't be harmed by those terrible gay people who want to get married. And don't forget those dangerous folks who want to give others a chance at life through stem cell research. Huddle there in a crowd so you'll be safe from the insurgents who want America out of their country. Put on your dumb smirks so your faces will look the the clown who has done what no Arab leader has been able to do: unite the Muslim terrorists. While your trembling there, cheer yourself up by conjuring up the image of a smiling Genna and Barbara Bush? And why wouldn't they be grinning? They'll never be put in harm's way over there in Iraq. And the next time you check the prices at your gas pump, observe a minute of silence for your president. I'm glad he's not my president. You can have him and that crew of imperilistic facists and religious zealots who are taking over this country.

LOL, Sisgal.

And people can order your book at Amazon.com now!!

You and Chris are featured on the DOOR OF KUSH christmas cards. They're really pretty and they go out to about 1500 bookstores and 1500 industry people in Dec.

They have you looking beautiful on the card and then your book is inside.

Amazon.Com hasn't posted the cover (I don't think DOK sent it yet), but it's very SEXY.

That Zack Monstar you created is one fine ass brother....and talk about being on the line....he's got the whole city (and possibly the nation) to save from a hiddeous lab created disease. People should buy "Devil In the Mist" by Diane Dorce. It's a good biological thriller.

That's "Devil In the Mist" by Diane Dorce at Amazon.Com

I guess we a have a FEW things to look forward to, girl.

Foks,

We are Black people. So, of course, we will remain prayerful.

But other than the 'coronation' of Senator-elect Baraka Obama, we pretty much got our @$$e$ handed to us, foks.

Even the Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle - the Senates most powerful Democrat! - got booted!

So I've gottah say: After looking at what happened in both the Presidential and Congressional races, I suddenly feel really 'lonesome' in this country right now.

And we might discover soon enough that Marcus Garvey have had the right idea after all.

Yes, Abm, it looks bad for the home team. With little likelihood of 80-year old, cancer-stricken Chief Justice Rehnquist returning to the Supreme Court, Bush will be appointing yet another conservative judge, which will, in turn, allow him to reverse laws. The Republican-controlled senate will also empower Dubya. But this is no accident, no fluk. Bush and his ilk represent the true face of America. This country is returning to its puritannical roots, and embracing the super patriotism that espouses the idea that America can do no wrong, and even if it's us against the world, God is on our side and we will prevail. The voters have spoken and we are now stuck with an oaf who thinks that as long as you're strong and determined, being wrong and stubborn doesn't matter. Bush's constituency agrees with this mind-set because that's the American way. So hoist Ol Glory up the flag pole, boys, and be sure that Rebel banner is flying right along with it. Yeeeee-Hah! Maybe Obama will be the one who can lead us across the river to the Promised Land. Maybe.

HEY ALL...I will just answer Chris back and then GET BACK TO THE SUBJECT OF THE THREAD. Please forgive us.

CHRIS:

At this point--they have Sisgal by herself on the card "Season's Greetings" from DOK and books by all 3 of us are inside the card. We're all pictured inside. I'm covered in Muslim garb!

Of course the card hasn't been printed up, so knowing DOK it could change.

They totally dumped the original book cover that I picked for Sisgal and in just the last 7 days--they put a black hunk "Zack Monstar" on the cover, he's "running" through Atlanta in a race against time! LOL

I'm certain you'll be receiving christmas cards, and I'm sure Troy Johnson and Thumper are on the "industry" mailing list.

A company brochure will also go out Jan. 1st with all the books featured.

STILL....("if I was you")...I wouldn't count on DOK to publicize for you. They're really small and you have to create your own marketing campaign to really move books. DOK does lousy publicity.

They only sent me on a tour (the "security" cost of which set your release dates back, sorry), because I got huge street sales in L.A.

That one city is what keeps me published!

Now I'm strong in D.C., Memphis and Detroit as well (Cities I toured).

No such luck in Chicago.

**********

ANYWAY.....back to the thread.

BUSH is back in the office and my teeth hurt!!!!

Congrats to OBAMA.

And I told people that Osama was alive and well. I said it on FOX NEWS---but people treat me like I don't know anything, they act like black women are just natural liars and clowns.

Next MAY...they'll discover that I KNOW more than the damned U.S. government does about the man.

He certainly put Bush's ass back in the white house. And who knows? Maybe that was a "DEAL".

****

ABM--thanks for emailing me, daddy. I'm sending you energy and love by air, so take a deep breath and stretch and crack your back. I'll write back later by email.

Foks,

Of course I am Monday Morning Quarterbacking here, but I can’t resist.

Here are some of the things the Dems MUST do going forward to reclaim some sense of dignity and power:

@ ABSTAIN from nominating ANYONE who resides east of Pittsburgh. There just aren’t any more JFK’s being born/bred in New England. So it is time to let ‘Camelot’ go.

@ Also, stop nominating guys from states (See failed Massachusetts Pres. candidates Dukakis and Kerry for example) who are trynah ramrod gay marriage down the throats of a nation largely populated by foks who attend Sunday School.

@ Nominate a charismatic governor from a fiscally sound southern state. I don’t know if such exist post-Clinton. But if there are none, now's the time to start growin’em and groomin’em for the gig.

@ Stop kowtowing to Bush. If the Dem had had some guts and BLAMED Bush for 911, they would have had a better chance. Now, they’ll say they did what they did to uphold some mutual sentiment of collective goodwill during some touchy-feeling national time of need. BS! They got bent and f@#$ed like a discounted crackho in the process. Because WE ALL KNOW that if Clinton or Gore resided on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue 3 years ago, the GOP would have stormed the White House and hung him bucknaked from off the top of the Washington Monument.

@ Filibuster the $#*+ out of every GD nomination Bush submits to the Senate until he falls out into convulsive fits of those asinine smirks of his. Maybe that will scare Americans into realizing they screwed up and demand his presidency be rescinded due to insanity.

@ Don’t jump aboard that "Obama for President in 2008" train just yet. We still are some distance from getting a near majority of Whites to votea Black man into office. And his candidacy would suck the wind out from under the sails of some (face it!) White guy who’s more electable. Plus, I’m scared that if dude DOES looks like he could win the White House, the CIA will kill him.

@ And lastly: Burn Al Gore’s name in Effigy! This was his election to win...and he straight p@$$ied out on ALL OF US.

Kola,

Thank you, Baby! I look forward to hearing from you. Cause Daddy can use some of your cosmic energy about now. :-)

Kola,

I observed it mentioned during a recent airing of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Mahler that anytime Osama shows up, he helps reelect Bush.

And THAT was Osama’s desire.

Because Bush has done more in 3 years to increase Alqueda(sic) recruitment and foster rabid Islamic fundamentalism that all of his presidential predecessors put together.

It was absolutely wonderful (and very telling of how desperately Obama wants to identify with his "black" constituents)...when Obama's beautiful brilliant wife (a graduate of Harvard) introduced him by saying, "And now, here he is...my baby's daddy!"

OBAMA never looked more handsome as he was laughing to that remark and kissing his gushing wife.

What a beautiful moment. And within that moment--I really was won over totally by OBAMA, because I respect his determination and "insight" into what our people REALLY need, aside from being Americans. He reminds me of Derrick Bell in that he's very committed to representing his people as ONE OF THEM.

What a breath of hope for us.

Glad you comply with my opinion of the Bush clones, a-womon. Nothing like having a common enemy to bring people together. And nothing like having a moron like Bush as president to inpire me to go off.

Sisgal, you should tape the book bash and make copies available to the rest of us for a small fee.

Moonsigns: Yes I, along with millions of other Obama supporters, watched our pride and joy give his acceptance speech.

I am as happy/proud of Obama's election to the US Senate as any of you.

But does anyone else consider it somewhat bittersweet that in an nation whose Black people time/history on American soil span the entire history of this country, it took a first generation biracial African American - who has NO American slave heritage - to claim one of ONLY 3 Senate seats to have been conferred to Blacks since Reconstruction?

And is that merely a coincidence? Or does this foretell that some sinister form of 'delineation' is being ascribed amongst Black people here(...and perhaps through out the world)?

Lawchic says: Mike Easley from NC is a Democratic governor who was re-elected in this election. Trying to think up some more.

The weird thing is that Erskine Bowles (former Clinton Chief of Staff?) just lost a second bid for the U.S. Senate there. He's another millionaire who spent a ton of his own money to finance his campaign. But it's amazing that a state will elect a Democratic governor, but dis the Democratic candidate for Senate (even though folks loved Clinton) and support a Republican for President. The only thing i can figure is that Easley is probably fiscally conservative, and they painted Bowles as a tax and spend liberal. BTW, Bowles was running for John Edwards' seat.

We've just got to figure out how to get to folks. I think the values issue is huge. They are not going to allow candidates to say things like "I personally don't favor abortion, but I think you should have choice."

Democrats are going to have to start from scratch.

Lawchic,

Thanks for naming names. I will definitely keep Easley on my political radar in the succeeding years. And if I can think of others, I’ll pass them along as well. In fact, maybe we need to find a winner NOW and begin constructing an effective political apparatus around him or her.

What happened to Clinton’s crony should show us that the RIGHT (operative word) candidate can beat financial/political capital. And money, though important, means NOTHING if one lack planning/organization. I don’t know anything about Bowles runs at the Senate. But perhaps he thought sending a lot of dough would get his through, even if the money were spent indiscriminately.

And I think it is formally time we realize that Clinton was more Memorex than live. Remember: The only reason he beat Bush Sr. was Perot siphoned off a huge chunk of Bush’s votes. And Clinton’s ’96 competitor is about as lively and inspiring as lint.

So we need to steer clear of these fantasies of Clinton being the noble sire of future kings. Hell. Dude was in office for EIGHT years and I can hardly recall anything he accomplished. In fact, considering the hatchet job the Republicans pulled on him with that Lewinsky fiasco, he’d have been better off losing in ’96.

I blame the media for inflating the values thing. Think about how much news copy has been expressed about gay marriage, which, frankly, pales in comparison to the Iraq war, terrorism, the economy, the deficit, social security, etc.

And to foster discontent and hostility, the media LOVE expressing false contrasts. If you listen to the media, you’d think ONLY Republicans attend church service and are pro-life when in many Democratic communities, especially Black ones, foks spend nearly as much time at service as they do in bed and they also decry abortion.

So the problem may not be some much about values as it is about whether/how values are being identified and marketed via the political parties and the press.

Bush got re-elected because he clearly had his finger on the pulse of the moral majority. Kerry mis-read the mood of the country. He apparently didn't realize how that over-the-top movie "Farenheit 9/11" and Puffy's "vote or die" T-shirts and all of those glamourous Hollywood celebrities jumping on his bandwagon were things that would turn off millions of conservatives from the midwestern heartlands and the southern bible belt, plain folk who buy into the simple solutions that Bush offers for complicated problems. And of course there was Dubya's huge follwoing among the wackos like "Rookie." Meanwhile, other pundits are saying that Hispanics are increasingly gravitating toward the Republican party and will become to it, what blacks are to the Democratic Party. Soooo who knows what the future holds for the Democrats? A uncivil war might even erupt, stemming from the extreme culture clash that exists in this nation. That's why I think Al-Quaida accomplished with 3 airplanes everything it needed to do. It has thrown America into turmoil, filling much of the populace with a fear of the terrorist boogey men. In doing this, it has also empowered Bush and his posse to wrest away our civil liberties under the guise of maintaining national security, action that could lead to dissent from another segment of citizens. Al-Quaida also hoodwinked Bush into alienating America from her European allies and, with the quagmire in Iraq polarizing the population and bankrupting the country, Osama bin Ladin can sit back and feel pleased with how he avenged an earlier American-backed Israeli operation that brought down a building in Palestine, killing hundreds. Osama ended his message to the American people by saying in effect, that if you don't mess with me I won't mess with you. But Bush can't afford to lose face so he has to keep waging a war in Iraq against a country which had nothing to do with 9/11. Sure it could be concluded that what I am alleging is disloyal. Whatever. I'll concede that Ol Binny is a bad guy, responsible for the deaths of all those 9/11 victims. Just as ol Bush is a bad guy to Muslims for being responsible for killing all of those innocent civilians in Iraq. So, in defense of my attack, I would simply quote statesmen Carl Schurz who said a long time ago when treason accusations were hurled at him: "my country right, or wrong; if right to be kept right, if wrong to be set right." Of course I can't set America "right", but I can set my fingers to type these thoughts. Bush is not our leader. He is our mis-leader. Whew! 'Think I'll go watch The Simpsons.

In California, Cynique,

the POOREST Latinos seem to love the Republicans. They are heavily Catholic and very committed to the most conservative views. They prefer Whites over blacks, overwhelmingly.

Many of them can't even speak English--but they can say "nigger". Even the little babies can.

As I said months ago--Black Americans are at their worst point right now, because they don't even notice that the ONE place of power they held in this country---that of this nation's LARGEST Minority---is now being usurped and used for the benefit of the Whites.

Latinos are now 60% in California, the nation's most powerful state.

The black VOTING population in California just 20 years ago was 18%

Now it's just 6%--as this has become a "mecca" for Black interracial unions, whereby all the damned kids identify as "Non-Black" and vote REPUBLICAN!! (have you heard of Orange County and Riverside, Cynique? The BLACK republicans of California). And the black women have left the state!!! It's nothing but bone-head black males here who hate themselves. The sorriest fuckers you ever saw.

People get tired of me harping, but I don't give a shit.

Our men are (stupid!!) and we're LOSING big time.

No black community..."scattered" families at best...and no "common ground" upon which to relate.

I Swear to GOD, when I first got to this country--not even speaking English--I could IMMEDIATELY relate to the Southern Blacks. They are VERY community orientated, united as tribal people would be and respect the truth about color unity---THIS is a great strength to acknowledge when one is family. So that even I, Arabic speaking, could recognize my own family and fit in accordingly.

BUT these fuckers in California...this shit is spreading throughout America and it's going to kill the Black Americans both financially and politically. They're always so busy trying to DRESS UP and impress outsiders.

I just shake my head, because the blacks in this country are GIVING AWAY every damned thing their ancestors fought tooth and nail to aquire.

The Latinos--who are just white folks with tacos--are helping the Whites to get stronger than they've ever been.

All under the FAKE umbrella called "multi-culturalism".

Yeah, multi-culturalism my ass.

And talk about killing innocent civilians in Iraq? We have killed more innocent civilians there than all the victims who died on 9/11.
