KWAME JACKSON ANNOUNCES ESTIMATED 3 BILLION DOLLAR REAL ESTATE PROJECT,
"ROSEWOOD" IN PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY, MARYLAND

'APPRENTICE' RUNNER UP CREATES LEGACY FOR THE FUTURE WITH NEW COMPANY
LEGACY DEVLOPMENT PARTNERS LLC

August 25, 2004, Maryland. True to Kwame Jackson's business training at Harvard and his entrepreneurial spirit, "The Apprentice" runner-up has founded his own company, Legacy Development Partners LLC, a company positioned to engage in real estate development projects and real estate investment opportunities. Rosewood, a mixed-use development project in Prince George's County, Maryland, marks Jackson's first signature deal since appearing on the NBC hit television show "The Apprentice" with Donald Trump. Rosewood will be a new "urban city center" located on Pennsylvania Avenue just ten miles from downtown Washington, DC. The community will cater to residents, businesses and visitors who value the amenities of an urban setting within a suburban location. Rosewood will be a destination location in Prince George's County that provides a vibrant environment to live, work and play. At its completion the development is expected to have a total value in excess of three billion dollars. Rosewood will include commercial and residential properties, a performing arts center, retail stores, restaurants, recreational amenities and a state of the art medical facility. The development is expected to create 32,000 jobs providing a significant economic boost to Prince George's County.

According to Jackson: "I am a native son of the area, born in Washington DC where my family resided until I was eight. Since appearing on 'The Apprentice', one of the most important lessons I learned from Donald Trump is that real estate can be one of the most successful vehicles for the production of wealth. More importantly, this project is about creating a lasting legacy of African-American entrepreneurialism on a grand scale, with a focus on ownership."

Rosewood, whose name pays tribute to the flourishing African-American community in Florida, which was destroyed in 1923, is intended to reflect what the historic Rosewood might look like today. The property consists of approximately 500 acres and the collaborative effort to begin building this community of residential, commercial and government properties is projected to commence in 2006.

Kwame explains, "My experience on "The Apprentice" and meeting Donald Trump provided a wonderful platform and unparalleled exposure to launch a number of business ventures. My focus now is to go from being an employee to an employer, and the show provided the "gut check" and "sounding board" I needed to make this move.

Kwame Jackson will receive an Entrepreneurship award from the Small Business Administration and Minority Business Development Agency on September 10th in Washington, DC.

Legacy Development Partners LLC was created with Kwame Jackson's long-time friends and business partners Erik Moses and David Smith who convinced Kwame to try out for "The Apprentice." Together the trio hopes to build a legacy for future generations to come. "The magnitude of this deal is tremendous for us and we are proud to be working with so many talented individuals on a project right outside the nation's capital. We aspire to make a highly impactful entree into big time real estate development, setting the stage for future projects to come" explains Erik Moses, President of Legacy Development Partners LLC.
